Hello guys,  Smiley

I recently re-installed my AC and of course I first had to back up all my settings, all the mods, etc.. But I know well that my old AC install was quite rich of poor, unfinished, not working mods, etc, with all respect due to their creators. And I would like now to make a "clean" AC filled only with top notch mods.

Of course I get that the appreciation of those might also be personal and subjective, but does anyone know a list of top quality AC cars and tracks mods ?

If none exists, do you also think it could be nice to build such a list, provided with all the matching links of course ?  angel

for sure that's a good plan,  going through junk to find gems is a hard task.

Hello Stefan,

It's a rather good one for sure but I remember of a suspension problem which led to the rear wheels being able to pass through the body under heavy load.. So I guess something is wrong somewhere.  Grin

It's been through 2 updates since we last used it here - and one since SRO ran their season last year so that might be fixed.
I haven't really driven it since then though so can't comment.

I have loads of top quality mods but will need a lot of time to make a usable list!

So I'll start the easy way as I have only a handful of paid stuff.
I've yet to see RSS or VRC make anything rubbish that's not worth the price (Provided it interests you at least)

RSS: https://racesimstudio.com/ (I massively recommend the old GT1 and GT-n packs plus the older F1 cars, the rest is all to modern for me so can't comment).

VRC: https://vrc-modding-team.net/ I have the Chevrette (Worth it for the sound alone) and the 2 TA2 cars which appear pretty bang on for their real counterparts.

The TA2's and RSS GT1/GT-n's are so good I wouldn't hesitate to run series with either I was sure enough of people actually turning up and buying them (Lets face it - plenty of places (here included) have run seasons in far shoddier cars)

Near enough all track by Sergio Loro are of very high quality if he's charging for them. Rouen and Sandevort are truely standout circuits and beat the hell out of any free versions, I'm hoping he'll do the GPLEA version of Clermont so that track can finally be done justice to aswell....

And like an idiot I forgot the DRM mod from that list!
Available either on RD or through their own website

https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/drm-revival.20496/
https://www.drm-modding-team.com/ (dig backwards a bit in the news page and you can find a demo car, be sure to read the notes before you complain how lethal it is Wink)

I'm 1 update late then.  Cool

I notice you've added a pre-war section.

The following are all epic - although the sounds are often not great on the 1923 GP cars sadly (Lack of source material as opposed to an author who can't be arsed)

1923 GP cars + a 1937 Le Mans Bugatti = https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/authors/nicecuppatea.464114/

And Naturally the king of insanity = https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/1937-auto-union-type-c.30182/
