Sad Srry Martin, but checked the replay and i was braking at my marker (the little red bord, just behind the 100mtr bord for Degna 1)  Sad

Otherwise also bad race  Undecided

Started with VR not working (i think the adapter or the cable with the power box is broken  Angry ). So switched in a long time towards monitor view.

Good quali but bad start, afterwrds good battle with Giuseppe, Pete. But missed my braking point due to close racing and needed to steer in the grass to avoid Giuseppe. Than the accident with Martin happened. And at the end again a small understeer mistake in Degna 2 so Dieter passed me.

Last 4 laps where fun following Giuseppe and Pete

I was not suggesting you were in any way at fault Birger. It was entirely my fault for braking too late.

congratulations to Geoff on his first win

Thanks Riccardo. However it was Massimo's race really, not sure what happened to him, all I saw was his car in the distance going straight on at T1. Looks like it may have been a technical issue.

Although I would have been quite happy with the challenge of driving the Nissan, there is no doubt that these cars were much easier with TC. Could not stay with Massimo while he was on track, although I did try hard, but he was half a second a lap or more faster. Equally I managed to be around the same amount quicker than Riccardo & pulled out a reasonable advantage so I did not have to take any risks in the final laps when the tyres were past their best.

Congrats to Riccardo & Alessandro  clap clap & bad luck to Massimo. Sad

Podium gained after for a CTD of Massimo, thanks mate for your gift

I was always in difficult with this cars, it's needs clean line but I am not able of this.
First laps very intensive with Dieter close to me and I cannot to go away, after some laps I found a good pace and I begun to fill the gap to Riccardo but an usual spin off in the Spoon curve bring me to lost the virtual podium.
Then after a battle with Pawel I overtake him just for a his mistake

Great victory Geoff!  clap clap you and Bonni were unattainable

Thought i would use the hard tyres for the race, having only run the softs till then as i didnt think the softs would last well... oh well, understerred off at the first time for braking into T1 and then never had the pace to get back up. Still it was actually fun just driving around here on my own, hard to get bored around this track.
