Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
(2) The event is open to all registered forum users.
(3) You will not be able to join the server without the skin and ballast pack (see link above).
(4) As well as the new skin and ballast pack, we will also be testing an update to the weather generation process which should reduce the extremely low temperatures and the incorrectly low track temperature at the start of each session.

I get it this a championship race. So no fun/test race before championship starts? No trying out cars with the new ballast pack? No chance to compare them?

No, its a test race for the skinpack TT.

I know it says Season 5 in the title but that's because it's the official pre-Season 5 test. Hence the words "test race" in the text.

Brilliant! Missed this race in S4 as I wasn't in UKGTR then, plus I like the track
Is it a 40 or 80 min race? hoping for 40 as I'm coughing and spluttering everywhere atm

Haven't decided yet. Probably two short races or something like that.

How about 2x20 minute sprint races, so we can try out a different car in each race? ie a GT in one, NGT the other or even just a different GT car in each, whatever.
We havent had a chance to give the new car weightings a shake down to see how they feel and how they affect our setups and the first championship race is on tuesday.  

ps is the first champ race going to be at Anderstorp? Need to know as spare time is something of a rarity for me these days and therefore want to practise at the right track when i do get a chance !

How will the rule changes be interpreted for this race? Clearly the track has not been modified, so there is considerable scope for driving outside the track limits, but does this mean that the new rules will not be enforced?
