I have to say I'm a bit concerned by the reports of messed up textures. Could those people who suffered try a full field of 56 AI cars at Spa from the "UKGTR Skins" sub-class and see if anything is messed up? And if it is try without ultra resolution textures?
Eh? Tis only me that reported one car. Probably just a game glitch as no one else saw it, just me.

If its any use I didnt see any problems at all. All the new skins looked great, especially Mo's KC RSR Are we getting results and replays? The replays that GTR2 generates for me always have those cars that don't go around the track correctly. I think the server replays cure that. Colin

What about FreQ? Racing was fun, I saw a few screwed up textures on my own car sat in the pits Also my own replay file shows a lot of weird "crabbing" on cars near the back of the pack...strange.

No probs for me on the cars and they all looked nice I had a good time even though the lack of practice showed during Q and Race.. I had some good fights, and it makes my first season here looks cool. Now I need to find some speed and everything will look good

Great race. Although there was a bit to much tapping/pushing for my taste. But I guess that's to be expected from a fun race.
Didn't have any problems with textures

Not sure, wasn't Freq one that complained of bad lag after race 2 too? Maybe the two are related? (Can't remember who said what now, I remember being roasted and in need of a drink. )

I can get those kind of texture distorders when I have ATI-overdrive on and my card goes above 80 degrees. Turning overdrive off fixes that for me 9 out of 10 times.

I think its a trait of online racing. I find that offline my game runs smoother. I have had to reduce my AA and mipmap details etc a little to maintain a decent fps, around 60-70. Though its no problem. Colin

Are you using GTR2 PD Monitor or anything like that? I find when using GTR2 PD Monitor on anything other than 500ms+ I get lag and stutter in game only whilst racing online. It's usually a background task that causes the lag.

Great Race, I really enjoyed that thanks. Ginsters I enjoyed our race in R1. Your a good clean racer. Got taken out in R2 by a recovering car in the last turn Guys time for a dumb newbie question ---- How do I watch my replay? Anthony

Download it then save the .vcr file into your 'replaydata' folder. Then open GT2 and go to replays. It will be listed as ValenciaLong following by a date and time stamp. Click on her and away you go!
