BTW I love the password, guess it has something to do with swedish furnitures  angel laugh

I'm 99% sure it's from an 80s or 90s comedy sketch but I need to exercise the full Power of Google to find out and don't want to give it away by posting until after the event. Cheesy

Erm - help!

I can't see the password. From the 1st post on this topic, I get "available from the event page (see the Show Password link under the announcement text)"

But the even page also shows "available from the event page (see the Show Password link under the announcement text)", so I end up in a loop!

EDIT: Ignore me, I'm a haddock, and I have trouble reading!

:'(  Angry Cant believe it,the start of the new season has been a nightmare for me  :'( ,trying to get used to the 360 ,G25 and left foot braking technique, but its all too much for me.Decided to give the 360 a go but then changed my mind by end of practice 1 and went for the RSR.
Tried to get used to the car change but its odviously not the cars, its me  :'( ,cant seem to get 2 clean laps in and had 3-4 offs in first 10mins.By then I was too stressed to keep on fighting back  :'( ,not an impresive start in the new team  Embarrassed sorry guys!Hopefully I can get back in form SOON

Quite an uneventfull race for me, expept for the next to last lap  Roll Eyes.

Quallytime was good, but I hoped to sneak under the 1:28's Smiley.
After that I good slowly increase my gap. And at the next to last lap I had a 10s lead or something.
I then went a bit wide out of T1 and I came between the area where airstrip meets that corner, and all of a sudden my backend went up up and awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay and  I shot to the left and ended somewhere near the trees  lol.
CJ was soon there to take first. Stupid mistake by me, but deserved win for CJ as he drove very consistent with that Bi-Turbo  thumbup1

Good race all

Had a slowish start, decided to put hard slicks on rear just before start which actually wasnt to bad at all, just took a long time to heat up. First problem, i didnt know about this blue flag bug so let the guy behind me through, but didnt go away so continued. Great racing with simon, right up your backside for most of the race only to make stupid mistakes when settings up for the pass. Must have been about 10mins to go and picked wrong gear on first corner locked the wheels and spun out. Simon was gone! Sad If only i didnt let you pass with the stupid blue flag bug :p

Was an great race tho!

Cracking first race of the new season.

Didnt qually too well (16th), but would have been higher other than dropping to 1st and spinning when well up on my time on last bastich corner  Roll Eyes
Still i knew i was in good stead for the race as could set only slightly slower times in full race configuration.

Race started well, nice and clean and set about trying to move up the field. Got up the inside of Darren on lap 2 or 3 and got through cleanly at turn 3. Got past a couple of more cars that were having incidents and then had a good little battle with Colin Hines in his Shark RSR, and got past him with a good move up the inside under braking for the final corner. Cool
The car was handling great and i was confident of keeping up a great pace, as i closed down on Jan Dujis in 8th/9th? in his Porker. Then spent about 10-15 mins putting him under some pressure, staying within 0.7 seconds for lap after lap, hoping he would make an error but he kept it together and we kept station for ages.
Unfortunately with about 10 mins to go my front right was showing wear of 21 and the car started to handle alot more poorly in the sweeping banked corners and whilst trying to stay hard on Jans heels, i locked up and went wide at the horrible first of the carousel corners, and lost about 7 seconds and a place back to Colin  Sad
It then became a real handful to get the car around and i started dropping a second a lap, falling into the clutches of Buckie and a gaggle of cars behind him.
A lap later whilst hot and flustered and peeved at myself for throwing away a top 10 position and with my mirrors full of the Scotland bonnet of Buckies car i braked too late at the second bank corner and slid over the high kerbing, dropping 4 or 5 places  :'(
I was gutted Sad
I had no more fight in the car with 7 mins remaining and a front left on 30+ tyre wear, it was a case of just keeping an average lap time up and keep the gap steady to a distant Mosler? i could just make out in my mirrors.
Brought the car home 13th and desperately disapointed to lose out on 30mins of top 10 running, all because of flipping tyre wear on one wheel.  :'(....ooh and the two minor offs  Roll Eyes  Embarrassed

Great clean racing by everyone, really enjoyed it. The RSR is back to its lean mean self and i enjoyed driving it once again. Cool
Congrats to the uber alien podium  Tongue Cool

Started off ok but after about 2/3 distance my rears started melting and I just couldn't keep it under control. Slipped back a few places then got hit off and lost a few more Grin Nice to finally have a race again after my old connection probs. Sure beats the hell out of hotlapping all the time.
Amazing qualifying lap Ruskus and Grats CJ on the victory thumbup2

Yes mate, killer move! Lost 2 places in 2 corners at that time.

I really enjoyed the race overall. Had some great battles in the mid-field. Took a nudge from Darren chasing down MJ and that put me back a few places. Managed to get passed another 2 and then past Darren again. Shame we didnt get to battle more thumbup1

Last 15 minutes saw me in a great battle with Buckie and Baracus. Excellent stuff guys, very clean racing! In the end Buckie made a mistake at one of the bends running wide, so I took advantage to claim 10th place. Happy with my set up too and the mediums lasted well for the 40 minute stint. Overloaded on fuel again though Grin

Not a bad start in the GTC championship although not many of us in it. Should be a podium every week for me then. whistling  Grin

Quite a dull race, but 2nd in class only a couple of seconds behind Nev in another Mosler. Picked up a couple of places in the overall rankings on the first lap, then picked up a few more from people's offs. Other than that very little company during the race. Tyre wear was fine due to my smooth driving style and really stable setup, unlike fuel consumption (had to start with 76 litres and had about 8 litres to spare at the end). Hope the extra fuel tanks I jettisoned half way through didn't get in anyones way.  laugh Just drove my own pace really which apparently wasn't quite enough to challenge Nev but was also too fast for any other GTC class cars. Zzzzz.

Reasonably pleased with 16th? in the Mosler in that Porsche Challenge championship race. angel Lips Sealed

Fairly straightforward race for me with only one minor incident. Managed to bag GTC pole quite comfortably with a 30.6 in the Mosler. The only excitement in the early laps was trying to dodge all the errant RSRs which kept falling off the track all around me, and then making sure I didn't get tangled with them as the eventually caught and passed me again.

Rest of the race was quiet until about 3/4ths distance when I braked to late at the end of the front straight and had a minor off into the gravel. When I got back on track I was suprised to discover the Blue Shark Mosler of the Evil Gymer bearing down on me and only 2 seconds behind  Shocked
My tyres were really struggling by that time but the off woke me up and I managed to ease it home with a 2 second gap intact.

Looking forward to seeing how the Mossie performs at the other tracks on the calendar. Congrats to CJ on the GT2 win in the Panzer  tank

Np m8 I can only assume there must have been a problem this end, although everything seems ok now, I had various cars disappearing and reappearing towards the end, assumed at the time it was there conn but obviously not

Well, lap 2 was very odd. Coming into T2 after the long straight, I suddenly get the blue flag icon flashing like mad, then my radio "You've had 3 blue flags, pull over!", then something or someone half-appeared in front of me, and I was suddenly bearing down much too quick on a Porsche!

I didn't miss my breaking spot (by much if at all), and he seemed to be braking at the same point as me, but I seemed to be gaining on him and it was going to be a collision. So, I threw myself at the grass - the only thing I could do to avoid an accident. Came across the grass and back on to the track in front of a few cars, and I think Pedro had to swerve to avoid me and hit Truetom. Really sorry about that guys, and sorry to the Porsche I scared under brakes.

After that, had a good race with Tom, PauloR, Fred and Reign Man. Particularly with Luke joining in, it was pretty close! Once I'd passed those, it was a bit quiet, with me only passing guys who had spun. Still, good race in the 'mid-to-late-field' Smiley

Last week i had a major problem with invisible cars so i took the liberty of formatting pc hoping to get rid of it.  Huh
Again tonight when the race had started i could only see maybe at max 15 cars on the track. These missing cars seem to appear when they get closer. Ive got all settings maxed so cant really see that being the problem. Im now starting to wonder if it could be a problem with either the skin pack or anderstorp, But seen as no one else has similair prob im left scratching my head. Undecided Anyone got any ideas?

The race. Qualified in 7th getting my pb along the way which i was quite pleased with. When the race started and i noticed cars were not showing i really couldnt get into the swing of things. I was worried incase i caused a disaster. Embarrassed After a few minor offs i started to settle down and had a ball with baracus and colin. Three of us nose to tail for what mustve been a good 3rd of the race. I had managed to get myself in front and looked good for a 10th place finish until the last lap my brakes just seemed to give up, nearly going off on the 1st bank corner which resulted in losing a place to colin and then again on the final corner my brakes seemed to fail and i ended in gravel with baracus passing leaving me struggling to get out and keep 12th place.

I either lost the bottle or brake duct on 1 wasnt such a good idea  Grin

Great racing guys, well done to podium.
