I would love to try one of the better GTR2 Mods one day. But I'm afraid of Dave's reply Grin

EDIT: Can't find download link, but I'll wait for the final release as I think this is this a beta.

Jeff, when we can't fill GTR2 grids with 'normal' cars we'll look at it. Wink Tongue

I do wish this sort of content was being produced for rFactor and not GTR2 with it's dodgy multiplayer though! Roll Eyes

Its quite good. The models do look a little dated, but they drive well enough. They seem to put in laps around Le Sarthe that they did in real life.

http://perfectdarkfr.free.fr/download.html - thats a link for anyone who wants to download the F12007 mod, its a must download if your a f1 fan as its got the best feeling to it compared to any other f1 sim/mod. All we need is league now which would be really nice  Roll Eyes. The thing that makes this better then other f1 sims is the grip levels are the way i imagine they should be unlike rfactor and ea challenge where i always felt the cornering grip was terrible so you had to use high traction control etc.with this you only need low traction control and thats it.

Theres going to be a new release soon aswell including wet tyres and a few other fixes to finish it off, so go get it !!! Cheesy

F1 cars actually run with traction control. Try and see how often it's active when they show F1 on television with the onboard cameras

Yeh i know, but you get the critics saying that it ruins the sport. i personally think they should give ppl the choice to take it. Noticing thing about this mod is that you can actually run with no aids at all. 1st gear is the only gear your need to watch your throttle with once your away its magic, cars corner amazing. Its kinda got traction built in tbh, coz if a f1 car didnt use it in real life they would not be able to corner as fast as they do without losing the backend or dramatically doing slower lap times.

Great mod tho, lets get the leagues started  Shocked  Wink
