Moderator's Report

Gerald took a shortcut through the international circuit after the race has ended to get back to the pits, and was DQ'd from the game. His position of 11th overall has been restored.

Please try not to drive backwards round the track or cut sections out after the flag because GTR2 isn't very clever about how it handles it.

Server replay time: 4359s

Sam Michaels has closed up and is pressuring Jure as they go through the stadium complex. As they brake for Priory Jure goes wide which leaves enough room for Sam to get inside him and alongside as they accelerate towards the final curve. As they both turn in Jure brakes late gets some understeer and goes wide. Unfortuntely Sam gets some oversteer at that exact moment and there is contact.

Server replay time: 4919s

Almost an exact repeat of the incident at 4359s and with the same drivers involved.
Jure who is still ahead of Sam runs into trouble trying to pass a backmarker in Maggotts. He runs off track briefly but recovers to the racing line just in time for Chapel. Sam takes advantage of this and tries to get alongside but there is contact as they exit onto the Hangar straight.
Jure was on the racing line and Sam was not alongside and should have allowed room for Jure who had nowhere to go and was already up against the kerb.
In fact on this occasion if Sam had stayed out wide he would have got a better run onto the straight to get a slipstream, especially with the Vertigo in front of Jure.

Hi I may have a date and not get back in time sorry.gerald

you "may" have a date? you may not get back in time? and you're sorry?  Roll Eyes Am I missing something here?  Huh that's a clear case of negativism!!!! you WILL have a date, you WILL be back very late if at all and you will NOT be sorry.  Cool

show no fear, they can smell it and don't forget about appropriate rubber (soft compound, you can go for hard one, you know, endurance oriented later on)

Any masters planning on driving this one in the bouncy castle (GT2)? Was up for a race earlier, but won't join if no Masters do, or if the server looks like it's getting full. Not fair on the guys with full spots.

EDIT: Nevermind - just found out champ car's are on at 20:30  Grin

Clicked leave event and the server wasn't showing in the lobby? only 4 passworded servers were....... none you you guys were showing on line either........ bizarre
