Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 469s

Backo attempts to pass Paul968 but runs out of room onto the grass, nudges Paul mid-corner then runs wide coming out of the corner again nudging Paul968. Although Backo had a decent run on Paul968 there really wasn't quite a passing attempt to be made. No incident report from Backo to hear his side of the tale either.

  • BACKO (Backo)caution — Back off if there isn't enought room to make the pass stick

Server replay time: 474s

Enzo attempts to take advantage of Paul968 losing a little momentum after the previous incident. However, he goes way too wide with all 4 wheels on the grasscrete at one point, then runs out of grasscrete and has to re-join the track still over half a cars length down on Paul968 and makes contact. This was an ill-judged attempt by Enzo and completely unnecessary.

  • Enzo (Enzo Amico)warning — Don't go off the track surface to try to make a pass.

Part of the problem with the RSR is that it's driving characteristics are totally different to a 'normal' mid- or front-engined car like the GTC Fezza or any of the GTC class cars. The M3 is also totally different being much heavier and much more powerful.

The class split hasn't helped the RSR versus 360/GTC situation, but then I didn't expect it too. But it has helped those who wish to drive what are now GTC cars - indeed amongst those drivers the new classes seem quite popular.

I'm a bit surprised not to see more M3s on the grid though (including you).

Yes, well I used M3 last season and I like to keep things different for myself to give me a new challenge every season, rather than sticking to the same car all the time. That and the M3 isn't that fun to drive.

I think classes work well in S5 - ballast pack seems ok dor GT1, even Lister can be fast a Richard Nevski showed us in Silverstone. Seems Saleen, Lamborghini, F575, Lister and MC12 are on par, while F550 is still a bit too strong. Corvette and Viper are a bit behind.  Smiley

Don't want to be a judge for GT2/GTC class as I'm a reserve there and my attention is focused on GT1 class in this season, but I see Legends Racing dominate. Maybe other drivers are not so active allround and have heavy ballast that keeps them slower. Tongue

That's an interesting new use of the word 'dominate' TT.  Tongue

I think it was a typo, I think he meant "be dominated".  Kiss

Err, we won't get into GT1 sprint or endurance right now...  Grin

I got the feeling that Season 5 started more lively than Season 4. Seems like ballast pack did stir the things a bit, though I didn't like it at first. Sure looks nice to different cars on the grid.  thumbup1

Yep, one 5th place and one third is just unstoppable! I'm not sure it's worth anyone else turning up now, even if the other scoring teams have currently participated in one race each with one driver.  Roll Eyes
