I got a good start and stayed wide at T1 but someone went wide and knocked me off the track. Then I got hit from the rear and race over Sad.

On a positive note, thanks for the track JonnyO, great for on-line racing. No advantage to be gained by corner cutting and the sand traps punish drivers going wide without ending their race  thumbup1

Thanks for the apology Frank. You are a very fast and fair driver and I appreciate the contact was unintentional. Hopefully the next time a make a blistering start (pretty rare) and challenge you for a position (even more rare), you'll be expecting me and leave enough room Wink

Cheers Phil, thanks for being a gentleman about it  thumbup1 ! I wouldn't say "very fast" though, more like "fastish" (in my good days)  laugh. But I do hate to be involved in race collisions, especially when the other party involved retires and I don't... I usually have good starts, and having lost two positions on that one I didn't expect a third car to be so close. Totally my fault, I should have stuck to the inside regardless. See you next time Wink.

Well, what can I say,, no two of my greatest opponents blew up today, it's a real shame about Renato and Leo........ oops
I was fighting to finish the race since this circuit (and thanks Jonnie for the tremendous track  tt1) is very demanding on tires, and I had to try to take care of them a little, (even with my rough way of braking)....
At the start I had a strong pressure with Tristan's Brabham but then I lost sight of him and I couldn't see him again, I had Killer and Jonnie a few seconds behind me and I read quite a few more, and lap after lap he grabbed me more time, a very neat career for leo, I congratulate you for that, you were unattainable. Smiley
Watching the replay I realized that your engine exploded for nothing, I don't know why, you weren't over revving or overstepping a gear wrong, maybe a random damage from the gpl, ..... death. that really bothered me, .. ... oops
I was taking care of my car the best I could when I saw that the engines exploded easily, and I tried not to take the potholes revved up, but a killer and a jonnie approached me and I did not want to lose the advantage that I had, and I tried to run a fast lap and one of protection and I think that thanks to that, I was able to finish.
a victory with a very bitter taste since the race was completely Leo's, who came out with the best car to achieve his goal, and in reality that hurts a lot (and I know why I say it).... hang
this victory is yours dear leo.
I earned it for driving a little more carefully. and well in the end with a very inspired killer and a jonnie, we were able to get 3 Brabham in the first 3 positions.
and well, the general classification was very tight and it scared me hahahaha.
see you at the next race and thank you, you made me sweat

I got home and I was a little tired, I didn't have a good setup for Brabham and I wasted a lot of time on qualy . Finally, the car was great in the race, but as it was in the middle of the pack in the race, it couldn't pass Killer, he's a driver who never misses, and Guaporé you only pass another similar driver if you make a mistake.
Today Leo was getting ready to climb to the highest podium but to the disappointment of the Brazilian fans present in Guaporé, his Weslake engine was on the way.
Congratulations to Farina who knew how to manage until the end and captain the Brabham pilots.
Race had half of retirements, proving that the track has its challenges and I was happy to see a good grid without any more serious problems like a CTD .

Thx Johnny, your track is very demanding and technical with a lot of turn closing. I picked BRM cause  I didn't know your track and I was prepared to be lapped by everyone and his dog, as Bernie says  Grin
But at the end of Q I found that a Lotus was going worst than me  Roll Eyes, so I started ready fot a duel  Grin
In the end I made only one mistake going wide on the grass luckily, the sand is really glou here, and happy to have gained some point.

You earned every bit of this victory Enrique, congratulations  I Am Not Worthy

I always race with reliability in mind, cause that's the way it was and that's the way it is in GPL. That is the beauty of it. Some times it is not enough. Still, I'm happy I got me some extra points and the championship keeps tight. Cheers  thumbup1
