I'm getting "Car not found" when trying the Nissan on the practice server. Did executable file (update to 2.1) fail because my GTL main folder is renamed for this series?
patch checks the existence of gtl.exe to make sure it is ran in correct folder, so unless you have renamed that, it should work. If it does not find gtl.exe, it will give an error that exe should be ran from same folder as gtl.exe
There is fix that works every time, it is rather tedious, so that's why I was trying to address the problem with patch.
Here's the bullet proof fix:
1. Delete "445np", "446np" and "447np" folders from GameData/Teams/GTC-TC-76/Nissan Skyline -folder.
2. Download the full 2.1 install
3. copy / extract files from full 2.1 package and overwrite everything.
The step 1. is crucial because the old install has the skins with wrong file names. If you do not remove old skin folders before installing 2.1 version, you end up with skins twice with different file names in same folder which will cause a mayhem in game.
