Sorry for the late post on this - real life was rude enough to interfere!

As it's such short notice I've picked a car we all know and love - The Alfa GTa along with a very short semi-known track in the form of Bikernieku's "Oval" course.
Unlike most ovals this one features at least 7 corners and even involves turning left sometimes Shocked
Please note that the start times have returned to our normal start of 19:30 UK time.

Cars allowed: Alfa Romeo GTA
(Requires Dream Pack 1)

Track: Bikernieki - Short 'Oval'

Practice: 19:30 (45 mins)
Qual: 20:15 (15 mins)

Weather: Clear
Start: Standing
Tyre wear: Normal

Work faster!  Wink This could provide some fantastic close fights!
It seems to have been designed for the GTA based on how much fun it is  Cool

Apologies for starting slightly late - only Facebook seem to have utterly screwed my Rift (I.e. broken the drivers and also deleting my entire **** account with an update about an hour ago).
Needless to say I've been shouting at them rather than starting the server.
I'll join in a bit but may end up rage quitting if I can't hack pancake vision Sad

As an update to anyone here affected - some googling has shown that you can still run the thing without the app up and running fully.
Fire up Steam, go to your library and then click the VR button (top right next to big picture mode (Who actually uses that??)).
It'll fire up steam VR and in the background the oculus app will slowly pop-up, fail to load, and then sit there (minimise it and ignore it).
You will of course have no access to anything Rift related but the functionality seems to be all there in Steam, so hopefully I'll be a little less ****ed when I join you in the server...

If you don't already you may need to run the OpenVR driver inside AC

Something weird happened with either the race 2 import, or the starting grid for race 2 in the game.
I know I started the race in 3rd but as I couldn't remember the finish order from race 1 during import couldn't manually edit the results.

We'll just pretend we all started 3rd I think....

Anyway, as the laptimes should suggest, if you missed this then you really missed out - fantastic close racing for the majority of the race/s.
I think the only factor that ended up splitting the field was legitimate exhaustion from fighting the GTA over all those kurbs in a 50 second lap!

Agreed, that was a great combo. Would have been even greater with a full grid of course.
