Password: see aboveThis will be a fun race to test one of the tracks pegged for next season (We'll be using a different layout though) - I'm not expecting any issues as it's made by the same guy who made Goria-thun. And with that bit noted you now have an idea what to expect - a kunos+ quality track with a layout any sane person would kill (or at least mildly maim) to have a go on in real life Where Goria is a track best suited to big GT's and other fast classes, Tucuru is aimed more at club level motorsports and as such is amazing when driven in road cars, historics or lower powered modern race cars. So naturally we'll take a Grp A rally car for a spin If you miss this one then you'll really miss out! Tucuru actually has 2 rallycross layouts - but sadly they aren't finished so are VERY easy to get lost on (same with the kart track)

Sorry I can't hear you from here, but why did he put some trees and bushes in all that sand ? Is 1h43'37"089 a good laptime by the way ? Srly, I'm pretty sure that as Stefan, I'll be half the time looking for my way in there..

I think the course we're on should be a little under 2 minutes, although as it was last week I set it up I can't be sure! For those who haven't been on the server yet; our layout this week is NOT an easy one to get lost on. Although I do expect most people to crash under the bridge on their first out lap in this layout - why will be very obvious once you've done it

Dammit ! I just went through a very little Paypal donation as I'm really not rich, but I stupidely validated while I was reading the Paypal fee which is way too much for such. It was on your personal Paypal Tony. Next time I hope I'll be wise, or, less brain damaged.

You could donate via Internet Banking if you pm Dave Gymer and ask for the Bank details.

I should have sticked to my 1st idea and keep the Medium compound, because in Hard ones, I was unable to keep them warmed up on the right side, and barely on the left side. This led to slower laps.. I was unable to keep focused too. This led to 1 big mistake in race 1 and plenty of minor ones here and there in both races. In race 2 1 a car (Kimi) lost control in a turn, and sorry but couldn't avoid it. But it was great fun great pleasure to get back to simracing with you guys ! This track has that much banking everywhere that my wheel now has some play in its longitudinal axe, I hope I just have to tighten it. Congrats Tim and Jos for your wins !

These cars where really fun and this track is very nicely done too. Great combo. The detail in the cockpit was absolutely super, very immersive in VR. And as this car was pretty good out of the box and not too powerful, it provides some great on track action. Thanks all for joining the fun.

Great fun yesterday with the Celica at Tucuru (nice track I didn't know existed before getting into practice yesterday). I started the first race in 2nd position (pole for the mortals behind glorious Tim). This was a surprise considering the results in practice and my teammate's great practice times. The race started well with Tim doing his acrobatic turning and slowly but surely opening a gap in front. I was expecting a big challenge from Maxime behind but his early mistake left me in no man land for a good while... Stefan wasn't catching and I had already given up on Tim (that was before the race!) but, oh surprise, Tim made a mistake (or was he wanting a challenge?) and I managed to get in front... That changed completely the race. I had to defend from the alien behind that was all over me... And the rest was massive fun! Congrats to Tim and Stefan on podiums and thanks to my teammate for the help in setting up as always. Video of the first race here: https://youtu.be/bVSrO-a2ZHUThe second race was always going to be more chaotic with the reverse grid (and fun!). It didn't start well as my early scratches with Stefan didn't deliver any positive results. Eventually I managed to make progress over the grid although it was so difficult to overtake as everyone was keeping a fantastic pace... The fight with Stefan for 2nd was gaining momentum and close to the end of the race, there was a gap... I had to try and we couldn't avoid touching... Relegated to 4th, the rest of the race was still much fun trying to get back into the fight... Congrats to Tim, Stefan and Chris on the podiums and well done to everyone else for the great fun. Video of the second race here: https://youtu.be/9E5-pX3vhsgEnjoy!
