GTL booted me to the lobby on the rolling lap. I think I might just forget about GTL from now on - there are far too many glitches with it and the standard of driving from some of the regulars there leaves quite a lot to be desired. So, I will just concentrate on GTR2 for the remainder of the season. Or until GTL for GTR2 is released  Grin

Nothing seems to go my way tonight Undecided Most importantly the brake bias was set to far back, so I spun too much, or I overshot the turn as I was braking softer, this in turn made my tires give up early, and then everything else Huh

A bad driver with a bad car has nothing to contribute to this race, so I took my helmet and just left before something worse happened Embarrassed

Will try to get in some more practice before next race, and I'm hoping to to be able to race you guys soon. Wink

Hmmm. Not good.

Started well, following Baracus for a few laps. Then I get a nudge from behind pushing me backwards onto the grass - tenth place. Manage to fight back into the lead, then run out of fuel on lap 37. How much bl**dy fuel does the Alfa need at this poxy track? I put '40 laps' worth in it.

The racing gods sure weren't on my side tonight. Sad

Well that was fun just from the amount of sawing at the wheel I was doing. I then proceeded to throw away any chance of a top three with a catalog of errors. First my passing attempt on MaddRip resulting in my locking up and spinning sideways into the last turn, fortunately missing MaddRip and then waiting for a few people to go by to get going again. Then I half span on my own at the same corner some laps later. Then I lost it a couple of times through the fast right hander with the triple? apex just running a little onto the grass so nothing major. Then I lost it on the penultimate corner with too much throttle losing me a massive amount of time.

Picked up 5th as others ran out of fuel. Unlucky chaps. Really useful having GTL PD Monitor, as it indicated 0.7l per lap so 32l of fuel for me (to give me a couple of laps or so spare). With that the in game garage said something like 50laps and I ended up with a bit over 3l left at the end.

Grats Baracus and quodos 1p for taking the Mini and driving it that fast!

Not great by me at all.  Had some good battles, but lost concentration at the end to drop of the group of me, DG, Ossie and Mark.  Shame as there had been some good racing.

Apologies for the contact (Mark it was I think) - not a lot I could do I'm afraid.

44 laps will do it ( after running out of fuel a few times I never believe the fuel in the pits), Fab quali 3 seconds quicker than I was going yesterday. And the race was a real fight, I just CANNOT get a good line in Bridgestone, I'm either slow, sideways or backwards  lol , i lost it so many times there but I was able to fight with 1P, Assassino, Pribeiro, Shark and Stuffy so it was almost worth the spins !!
From my point of view the racing was clean so no complaints there, and to top it off I get 2nd!! Woohoo!

Rubbish result for me but good fun and it felt good to be back in the Cortina. I may not have been fast but bar one overshoot when my concentration started to fail the handling was a solid foundation for some great but safe sideways fun. Picked up a few places from people in faster but unstable Alfas and had some good if slightly elbows-out fights along the way.

Glad I could make this one as myself and Madd are mornings this week. Due to times we can only make one in every three.  On to the race, Quallied 9th I think but came up as tenth on the grid.  I made a pretty good start but after a while started to overdrive and made a few little errors enabling others to catch up.  Had a couple of good battles with Adam Parle, Gizmo and a few others which were nice and clean - thanks lads.  In the latter stage of the race made a huge blunder on the last corner which lost me about three places which I couldn't recover from. All in all a good race for me as I only got lapped by two aliens.

Well done podium

Excellent clean driving thanks all!! Tongue
