Hi Lasse,

just wanted to say: server is still on Brno.

And one question: why do you use Alfa sounds for the BMW 1600ti/2000ti and not the original ones from the 2002tii?

 Cool

 Cool

A) sorry about the server, Life has been a hectic.  It will be online as soon as I have posted this message. Hoping to make everything ready for Silverstone tomorrow already.
B) Time constraints in release. Dan sent me DucFreak's sounds (which I have permissions to use in any project) but I need to check them out before launching the 1.2 version. So they are coming, but it will take a moment.

And now NoGrip Legacy HTC Server is running with race password. Smiley

Hiho

Thank you for a great event. Race 1 was definitely one of the most beautiful I have ever driven here. Pure excitement right up to the last corner. Congratulations to Clive for a great race. Race 2 was rather quiet, I think the 2002ti was unbeatable on this track.

Cu at Silverstone.

Glück auf!

Sorry to miss tonight's races, had a household electrical problem. Turns out the 63a RCD had developed a fault which kept tripping the power off. So see ya all at Silverstone next week.

Well that was Hero to Zero over the 2 races.

I simply lucked out with my car choice for Race 1 and somehow hit the right adjustments for the Bellet to make it drive perfectly for me.
As Micha has said that was a truly fun race ( regardless of whether I had taken 1st place ) An early error on my part dropped me back and it took many laps  (too many laps at 100%!!) to catch Micha's BMW again. The Bellet had the speed advantage which did surprise me because I have never found that in the car before  Roll Eyes so I was able to set up any pass through the previous corner and with a little slipstream, draft past on the next straight. But Micha refused to lie down and surrender  Undecided and he regained the lead.

Right up to the last corner it was a case of one mistake will decide the result. Tremendous fun and what simracing is all about.

Race 2 was a problem because what little practice I had done with the available cars was carried out at Imola  Huh. I am not complaining as I doubt that it would have changed the result. I opted for the Alfa only because the setup that I had created for Imola was the most stable, even if it was not the fastest. An early mistake dropped me from a mid field position to a distant last place, from where I slowly clawed my way back at the expense of other's mistakes and DNF's

This was purely my fault as I did the race invitation in hurry and it was already several days late. Trying to do race invitations on Tuesdays now on.
Once again sorry about this.

As general rule, twin races are always in same track. If you spot something else, then it's my copy paste mistake and needs to be corrected.

First race was the one which I truly practiced and that went very very bad. Second one I had no experience more than few laps with BDB and knew that I had no chance with that, so I opted the Capri with tried to pull the "setup rabbit" out of the hat. As I had no expectations, I am happy with the result.
