Moderator's Report

Anthony Humphreys joined the race in a scoring (GT2) car; he is full time in the Clubmen and thus should have joined in a non-scoring G2 or GT3 car. He is therefore excluded, but without any penalty points.

Not done a good job in quali. Didn't touch the car since GT1 Sprint here and it showed. Seems like I have to do some laps prior to race to refresh my memory and to adapt a car to my daily character changes  Wink
Qualified 8th and to be honest 6th,7th,8th and 8th were within 0,5 seconds, I think. Sounded promising.

Race started and I came into slipstream of Zacaris F550 at the last corner came alongside and started braking before my optimal braking point - to have some reserve. Well, seems like the margin was still too low as I clipped Mo (who was driving before Zacari) in his Viper, turning him and he ended in the sand. DAMN!  oops  Did exactly what I warned others not to!  Embarrassed  Braking with cold tyres and cold brakes too close to the car in front.  Sad  Fortunately Zacari was able to drive through the mess. Anyway, I waited for Mo to join the race to let him past, but NGTs came by and he had to wait before rejoining safely. I also waited but then noticed I was in a way, so I started going again. After I overtook NGTs I was driving slowly to let Mo catch up - my race was ruined anyway, so I thought to have a scrap with Mo. Seems like he ran into some kind of trouble and after some laps he quit. I felt really miserable, not motivated to go on, so I fired up my engine into a big cloud of black smoke and quit.  Undecided   Sorry again, Mo!  Sad

No worries TT, I saw you waiting but I had to let the field pass before rejoining.
After getting through the GT2 cars (hope I did ok I only passed on straights to try not to interfere with the racing) I eventually got a good lap in on clear track and it only brought me 0.2 closer to the car in front. Realising I wouldn't catch anyone for the rest of the race I ended up thinking about the six pack in the fridge instead of my braking point for T3 and decided to call it a day.

Decided to take the Viper last minute and was very surprised to qual in 6th only 1 sec off pole, not a bad car really apart from the understeer so I think I'll take it for the season  clown

Sorry I missed this one guys. I was going to do it, after a 3hr drive back from Kent, but plans changed when...

We won!

Class victory at Brands Hatch after a 40 minute, 2 driver race. Well chuffed with that, considering we completely rebuilt the suspension during the week and threw some numbers at it. I overtook the class leader on the last lap Cheesy
