Forgot to post on this race!
Had a great battle with Simon all the way through. The car felt a bit odd at the start and the rears were getting a little hot and pushing harder just seemed to slow me down/heat them up, so when he got close along the straight I flashed him through expecting him to dissapear. But on slowing down a little, the rears cooled....and I was going faster?
Was happy to follow Simon as his pace was the same as mine and I was on a heavy-ish fuel load. Later on the car started to feel better and the race was on, and it was real close coming out of the pits after a late stop, great racin'
Real pleased with 2nd, although that was more Ruskus' misfortune than my pace.
