Welcome to round 3 of the Skoda 130RS Trophy!
This will be held at the very famous *ahem* Grindelwald circuit in Switzerland.
The highly technical uphill section of track will be a totally different experience to when we drove the Cobra's here in the test race, as we no-longer have a big V8 your speed will be determined by gearing and absolute efficiency through the twists and turns of the village.
Back down the mountain will be a true challenge of bravery as the risk Vs reward for a fast descent is huge - bring your roomy-est underwear and a neck-brace!

As mentioned in the announcement for the series we have no mandatory tire/fuel stop, but the tire wear has been set at 130% so you may or may not need tires...

Timings:
Practice: 19:30 (45 mins)
Qualifying: 20:15 (15 mins)
Race: 20:30  (28 Laps)

Inside the pack you will find 5 folders - these need to be placed into "*Your steam library*steamappscommonassettocorsacontentcarstmm_skoda_130rsskins"

I also recommend you install the big skin pack from the 1st post in the announcement thread - I may have selected some of those cars when setting up the server (It's nearly impossible to tell which are which in the server software). If you see any white cars this will be your problem.

One thing that should be noted for this round is that the gantry lights do NOT work!

At race start you should relay on the built-in lights that pop up on your monitor as you would for any track without lights

I feel like this is a track where I will crash out. Car just feels uncatchable once it starts point the wrong way in the fast downhill sections. I'm yet to put 5 laps in a row without crashing heavily there. And I'm going much slower then Tim on his fastest lap so far on the server.
Also. I've put the skins in the folder, but in content manager, join button is grayed out, and I have a message that required content is missing. I had this for the last race as well, so I joined through AC multiplayer screen. I notice now that I can still use content manager to join, via CTRL-ALT-G, and when I'm on the server it's fine.

Will join in tonight but my pc has been a real pita the last week with numerous random ctds. Took me over an hour to be even able to get into windows last night and ruined my league race with a dns so I’m not too hopeful. I’ll have to learn the track as I go along. If anyone can help with a setup via stracker it’d much appreciated.

As for the track, if you had a PS1 and GT2 back in the day then you already know it

I hadn't practice this car apart from last race session and I was late due to work today so I had no good feeling for tonight.
I used the 20 min practice left to learn the track, which was good fun even if I can't get this car drifting as I would.
Then on the grid my clutch pedals decide to do what we wanted and so I got a drive trought penalty for moving before start.
I said well let's use this as more practise but when i tapped a bit a wall on the fast S I got the wrecked glass effect and it was a pain to continue. That was a quick rq.
I feel I would need tons of practice more to at least learn the car a bit and the tracks, but unfortunately I don't have that time lately. I maybe jump a race or two to get at least some, I'll see.

As I expected, I crashed in the downhill section. Twice. Two pitstops for full repairs, each losing me a ton of time. But I preservered to still finish the race. Shame that some of the others seem to give up after crashing, maybe I could have still had someone to fight with otherwise.

Like Syd I crashed twice on the downhill esses section, unfortunately the first crash also involved Sol who was close behind me at the time & it ended his race. I was able to continue with a bent car which still seemed to handle fine but was well down on straight line speed so I was around 1-2s a lap slower than before the damage. Another crash late in the race made the car slower still but again did not seem to affect the handling. Happy with my pace though just a shame I ruined a potentially good battle with Sol.

Congrats to the podium & all who reached the finish on this tricky track.

Did you get an artificial joint so ? Left or right leg ? (because of heel&toe better to be left I guess ?) How much time do you think you'll be out ?
