Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 22

Track: Hockenheim (GP)

Cars allowed: BMW CSL (any), Chevrolet Corvette (any), Detomaso Pantera (any), Ford Capri RS (any), Ford Escort RS (any), Porsche 906, Porsche 911 RSR (any), Porsche 914.

Note: Driver's can only choose one car model per race. No repeat drives. Applies to Round's 9 to 14.

Click HERE for driver's car roster.

CUP STAGE D, Round 14

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (10 mins) Drivers must not leave qualifying to change car make.
Race: 20:30 (26 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit stops required: NO

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None.

Tony, did you update the car roster after Anderstorp?

I'm shown as having the 914 left, but I used it in the race.

No that I intend to use it again, but just wondering (seems others are updated)  Smiley

Well done Daz and Erling. And thanks Tony and everyone for competitive fun racing. We're a good lot. We certainly deserve a few extra keen drivers.

Congrats to Daz & Erling  clap clap

I'm afraid I lost interest in this series after the first few races, this group of cars are probably my least favourite in GTL. I am concentrating more on R3E & AC these days but I will still pop in for the occasional GTL race when the combo is appealing (should be at Brno on Weds)   Wink

Enjoyed this lot, was fun to jump into stuff  I had not driven for eons.

Much like Geoff, these cars used to be my least favourite in GTL, but over the years I grew to understand how to drive them better, and that increased my liking. Some of them are among my favourites of the standard cars, and arguably I would rather do these than the GTC65s nowadays. TC65 still rules for racing though!

By my reckoning it is a shared victory  for Geoff and Erling overall, grats  thumbup2 thumbup2

Good fun all round.
