My first pole for yonks !

A pretty nervous start for me , At the flag I tippy toed into T1 as I didn't want to be the cause of a multi disco. fortunately the following pack had the same idea . Then a few more nerves as the field caught up saw me run wide in the stadium section and everyone sweep past . Just as I was thinking it was all over I began to realise the draft was much better than I thought and I was able to play catch up .
I had some great racing with the 3 musketeers ( AKA the 3 D's ) in there SL jobs,  most of all with Dullima ,  who I was able to stay with by being later on the brakes then grabbing a nice big tow down the loooong straight bits  (straights are where I am at my best )  I think Dullima was sand bagging until the last 3 laps when he suddenly began to brake 250 meters later and just drove off into the distance .

I think the car and track flattered my driving but I was happy with my P2 finish .

Grats to the Champion and all who took part and organised everything in this great Simm  Grin

Even with the tow, I was very slow on the long straights ...
My setup surely was very bad (it could not be the driver  Grin )

I'm happy with my final 2nd position on the championship.

I think Dullima was sand bagging until the last 3 laps when he suddenly began to brake 250 meters later and just drove off into the distance .

10 races and 9 wins, I think it was a very boring season for Dulima and a boring race yesterday in Hockenheim. That should be the reason why he slowed down just to have some fun with Bernie, Francesco, Dave and very occasionnally with me.

For next season (if there is a next season + if there is a 1955 championship), I think I have more chances to win if I race with the Pros in the case Du signs again with Privateers      Smiley

Thank you all for the congratulations
Dave, Bernie, Jonny and Rainier
Bernie, I liked the three "D", the connotation was excellent

Me with mod 55, I had a big problem with frames, especially at the start, they went down too much, it was practically impossible to drop in the middle of the pack

So I signed up for Privaters to drop more at the end, because with that, it was less bad and wouldn't cause any problems to report to anyone

Glad I solved it, I was running in direct 3D and I switched to Open GL V2, it improved 80%

Really Rainier, I was slowing down so we could have a dispute, but that won't happen anymore

Next season I will apply to Works

Thank you all for the clean disputes

It's a pleasure for me to run with you all

My race was finished with the problem of the camshaft but in the initial laps i was behind  Dulima.I don't rember if was the third lap or other but arrived at the end of the straight before the Motodrom,i was so worried to not touch Dulima that I did not realise that my brake was red.
The consequence  was seen by those following me laugh
