Mont tremblant turned out to be an excellent historic circuit, so now onto another. Where The Canadian course was long, fast, hilly and full of sweeping corners Bryer is an almost polar opposite.
Short and featuring a good combination of tight and not-so-tight turns, Bryar is a classic point and squirt location. I'm normally not a big fan of these but having trialled Bryar in several cars both with and without the AI I have to say it's fantastic.
In an unusual change of events the lake actually has a floor modelled in so falling in doesn't drop you to the earths core - you'll almost certainly get to visit the fish while learning the course Grin (I did)

We'll be using the Competition variant of the Cobras this time out - these work fine out of the box (you'll need the latest version as it's been updated since the last run).
Please READ THE INSTRUCTIONS in the download readme so you install the trackday versions correctly, as depending on feedback it might yet be those we use in the future (They're very good so you'll want them even if only for hotlapping).

Hahaha, that should be funny.
What is not so funny, is that I have to go to a dinner party that evening. Probably not back home in time.

Just tried this combo and it is indeed very good fun. The Cobra drives nicely, at the speed I drive it anyway.... I'll be at the back and then probably sleeping with the fishes in due course.

You may all get a free spot anyway - I've gained a suspected hernia so may be retiring part way in if it starts playing up too much Sad
I'll start at any rate!

Tried also, knee good for about 10 minutes then agony. Going to give it another week to recover and get some more movement in it. Sorry to miss out but dont want to put my recovery back any longer. Have fun.

Unfortunate Bob - did you have enough time to get an idea on these Vs the ones from last time?

The cars are a good drive, should provide good racing, can't wait to get back in action.

Sorry Samuil for my crash into your front right when you were half spinned in that corner : I misjudged my ability to brush your moustache.  Grin

@Tim : There is something wrong with this car's suspension as the rear wheels can get into the car body. You can see it at least with your own car in the replay.
Also, there was too much grip when the cars had a wheel, especially rear wheel ofc, into the grass. I don't know if it was due to the car or the track (more likely track I guess).

That was a very brutal combo with little to no chance of overtaking. Still fun though.  Smiley

I really like Bryar - I think with slow cars it should be good enough to provide very good battles. For more powerful stuff like these Cobras the fights are more about planning and either making a very responsive car - or manhandling it when needed.
Oddly the point and squirt nature only seems to add to the fun/challenge as you drive faster and faster cars on it Cool

I've not checked the replay yet, but remember that odd suspension travel and other things like that can also be caused by lag - and I'm fairly certain I forgot to turn my VPN off before the race last night....

As much as I liked this model though, I think the trackday versions we drove at Grindlewald are probably the most 'fun' version.

I don't know about this lag phenomenom but it occurs every time you loaded the rear right or left..  Wink Didn't you lower the car height ?

Prolly indeed.
