Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

It is.... I think the GT2 will be drivable here. This is also the last event of R3E on Thursdays, unless someone wants to run something.

I think maybe a summer break will be good?

I am open to suggestions.

Was looking forward to this one as I rather like the Mountain
I had done a new install of Win10 on this machine, and had installed race room
not actually driven it though as I havn't been here for a while.

It wanted to complete the install, then I couldn't set the key bindings I wanted
had to drive with a cockpit view, I usually use a bonnet view
then no game will use this new G19 unless I turn it fully both ways, but then
the steering is very vague, you have to turn it massive amounts to get the car to
turn. 7 secs off the pace in practice suggested it was a non starter, had a go
anyway, but went into the walls after just 2 corners. Game over

Maybe i was trying to drive the car wrongly but just felt it had too much understeer to the BMW. never quite dialled it out, on the odd laps i could match Biri and Dieter but never really close. Seeming both the corners at the end of the first straight and leading onto the back straight never really got well.

These definitely feel better to drive than the GT3's, shame Raceroom hasn't really fleshed the class out much.

Looks like racing around here has gone quiet which is a shame. Its been fun racing with you all.

Sorry to collect Mark when I spun at the hairpin coming down the mountain. Good fun otherwise and we were closely matched. Congrats Biri for the win and Mark for the championship.

I hope this won't be the last RRE race here, but if it is, it's been a pleasure racing with you all, and thanks to Matt for all the admin and organisation. If we do start up again I'll race anything, no major preferences beyond the usual statement of preferring the historic stuff. But anything is good. If not, I maybe forced to dust off AC and join up on wednesdays, but that's definitely a plan B as I really don't like the car setup and FFB in AC.

Or there's always wreckfest..!

one more fan for rrr, if you do a series in historic...  Wink although it is quite limited!
I would like to rrr a bit more, but I definitely don't like all these leagues that are only on discord

Thanks for that Christian.

My thought, possibly wrong, is that R3E is dead for small leagues like ours. Mostly because
of them doing their own series with free servers and big grids with some really good events

Hard to attract new people when the manufacturer can push leagues to thousands of people with Discord.

We can run more events, that's not a problem, but as you say there is limited historic content.
Because there is no 3rd party mods as there are for GTL and AC you only have the standard in game stuff

The FR90 cars are supposed to be less insane now, so maybe another series with those?
Though last time I tried that it was as welcome as a bad cold  Roll Eyes

you're right.  But I'd rather 100x a little league with the same people meeting up and chatting on the forum (provided there are at least a dozen of them) than seeing hundreds of people on discord and as many messages a day and  not to find anyone in the race.
What car are you talking about?  (fr90)
The only series possible in my opinion would be TC and dtm (together?) or cup Porsche and M1.  The gr4 and gr C are not valid with only 2 cars.  The gr5 seem to me a little missed!  RRR is not the best but has good things... Wink

FR-X-90 I think they call them. V8/V10/V12 1990 F1 cars, R3E seem to have redesigned their website
so you can't see any products other than racing seats....  laugh
