Yes this track is is not very linux friendly, my server also takes 5-7min to load it!
Lots of mini files in the track folder - not packed in the .dat file

This is why I made the Quali for 60 min

I need to do a proper test but I think the track takes about 30 seconds to load on my Win10 PC. I've no idea why it takes so long to load on Linux.

I'd been out and I had a bit of trouble with my steering wheel so I was late joining the server. My race PC has been off line for a while so I suspect it needed some updates. A restart seemed to sort it.

I started a qually lap on what I thought was a clear track but to my surprise I saw Axel in my mirrors at Quarter Bridge, I let him past before Union Mills and saw him gradually pull away until I crashed after Sulby and that was qually over. No time set. I expected to have a few minutes while the other drivers finished their laps so I decided I needed a comfort break but when I came back the race had started so I had to start from the pit lane. I managed to work my way up to 3rd place but I couldn't close the gap to Tris and Axel. In fact I pushed too hard and had to take a couple of shift-Rs which dropped me further back. It looks like Tris crashed out so I managed to grab a distant second place. Great driving Axel, a well deserved win.

I was pleasently surprised how easy it was to follow other cars here with this mod. The visibility was good compared to the Sports Cars (the only other mod I've raced on this track). I think the 67F2s would be good here too.

The load time depends a lot of the kind of the Harddisk you use.
It also seems not constant in linux, when 'I started the race server (SSD) I had calculated ~5min but it was up in less than 2min...
My race pc has a M2 SSD  and needs 1-2 min to see the pits.

This track is a dream with the 65s, I made in 2-3 training sessions in the afternoon lots of time by not lifting too much in some kinks...
The BRM with its 6 gears and top speed was best choice for me
