Championship standings HERE Grid/server capacity: 22 Car/Track download available by pm to WTTrack: Willow Springs (Big) Cars: AC Shelby Cobra. Chevrolet Corvette. Car restrictions: Drivers must change car make for 2nd race. RACE ONEPractice: ~19:20 (60 mins) Qualifying: 20:20 (10 mins) Drivers must not leave qualifying to change car make.Race: 20:30 (15 laps) RACE TWO will follow, with same rulesTime of Day Setting: 14:00 Start: STANDING Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Pit stops: Not required Server: simracing.org.uk Monday Password: see aboveNotes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. I've installed the car pack for this one, and while the Corvette loads OK, when I try the Cobra it crashes the game back to my desktop. Anyone else tried yet?

I've installed the car pack for this one, and while the Corvette loads OK, when I try the Cobra it crashes the game back to my desktop. Anyone else tried yet?
Hi, I am aware of one other who is getting the same problem. I have asked them to make me a trace file so that I may find out what's missing/wrong. Please read this https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=13381.msg241379#msg241379 and pm me the resulting Trace.txt file. EDIT: I may have found the missing file! Please download this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fGNJuobz4OaOlLiM1snRlogBFsyNewBl/view?usp=sharing and put the file into each of the three CAR folders (you will see a file already in the correct folder called AC_COBRA_CPIT.gtl). Let me know if this fixes the CTD please. |

Ok Huggy, understood. I have a trace file from PaulSS and it would have been helpful to have compared it to yours. You can create a desktop icon yourself. If you find your GTL.exe file and right click on it, then select "show more options" (assuming your on W11), on the next screen you will find "Send to". Hover over this and you will see the option to "Desktop (create shortcut)". Click on this and you should now have a working icon on your desktop. It would help me enormously to see your trace file at some time. |

Corvette yes. Track probably. Cobra no. So it's the standard cars? Or is it a new Cobra? May skip this, based on 2020 experience. A word of warning to those doing the races: there are places here where even a minor excursion outside the track will end your race; the surface is so slippery that there's no getting back on track. Happened to me in both 2020 races. |

It is not the same version of the track. This version is a little easier as there is more track furniture to give you an idea of where to brake & turn. Laptimes are around 6s longer than the track we used in 2020.
