Pseudo was limping back to the pits with a front left puncture when the leader, Ruskus, arrived to lap him. The latter turned into the final set of corners but Psuedo's car failed to slow because of the puncture and there was contact.

Pseudo imposed a drive through on himself for the incident, which cost JR a place.

Mixed feeling for me. Did a good lap in qually which was my PB in the Viper.

Race started okay, Leuven was pushing in the first few laps. After I while I got a small gap of around 7s. I then came around to lap Psuedo who was crawling on the straight, as he was recovering from an incident. So when we came to teh braking spot he had no brakes due to suspension failure and slammed into me. I flew off to the left into the wall. I thought my engine was bust, but I just stalled it.
I had so serieus aero damage so teh chicanes became ever more dangerous  Undecided.

Finishing 2nd is good, but not the result I could of gotten.

1,2 and 3 for Team Shark clap . Bring home the team champ  Grin

My gawd, that is like driving no other track on earth. It's a totally different experience, barely feels like driving a car at all, more like holding onto dear life in a bobsleigh, with no brakes and the thing bouncing around on all the bumps and curbs. That was far scarier in GTR2 than I remember it in GTR1 and it was darn scarey then.

I'm still shaking now.

So what is the secret of setup round here? Soft or Hard suspension?

Well done Craig on the win btw!!

Enjoyed the race. Hadn't had much chance to practice for this but for some reason I only made 1 error and the GTR2 damage thingy must've been looking the other way Grin One triple sulko later I was on my way without any damage Smiley Had some nice little battles with TT,MJ and SBG but ran out of time to pressure Jure at the end. Pleased with 6th Smiley Grats Leuv Cool
Nice racing all

that was as hard as expected  Sad Dont see how people enjoy this track when its a total lottery if you make it through the chicanes each lap  Huh You cant relax and just race someone.

Anyway, i survived  angel

Qualied about 12th i think, not matching my PB but was reasonably happy out of 23? places.

Race went well for first 10 laps, i made my way upto 9th and was going well with a big gap to the cars behind but then i started to get really hot in my room and it just destroyed my concentration for about 3 laps until i naturally cooled down again. But it cost me about 3 places and 4 seconds a lap  Angry :'(

Only had 1 real scare when i put one foot on the verge as i was braking for the first evil tyre chicane and i went sliding through backwards at full speed Shocked, managing to amazingly miss both sets of tyre walls and as i came skidding to a halt beached onto the kerb, Sharks Lambo flashed by within millimetres  Shocked...god knows how you didnt smash into my stranded car.  Huh
Took me about 10-15 secs to 'rock' the car off the saw-tooth kerbing  Sad

From that scary point on, i managed to settle and set a string of low 1:33's but too big a gap to the guys in front and i coasted around the last few laps trying not to hit anything to finish a final 10th. Not great but just surviving this place is an achievement.  surrender

Nice job to the pody guys, unlucky to Jeff to lose his leading place.

Tough race in the new Kerbcrawers colours. Qually went well matched my PB and started 7th with a 1:30.5. How the front runners get into the 1:27s I will never know!! Decided to take it easy at the start and just see what happened. Made up a place I think then made a mistake and ended up back behind Jan. Chased him for a lap and was slightly quicker but not able to get close enough to attempt a pass. He then crashed at the second chicane and I was able to strech away from Jure. He then closed up a bit and I clipped the first tyre chicane. Car did a 360 and didn't seemed too damaged.

Jure then chased again and I think it went down to about 3 seconds. He possibly had a moment as it went back up to 8 seconds again so I decided just to keep it steady. Made up a place with Baracus retiring so very pleased to finish up 4th. Away at Le Mans for the masters enduro which would be very tough! Might make the GT2 race depends if I get the car packed in time as leave the next morning.

Set me up nicely at the second chicane JM. Could see it coming but you were to good Smiley.

Pretty hairy but dull race apart from that. Just stay alive/keep a safe pace, nothing exciting. Until someone blew their engine on s/f straight Cheesy. Didn't cost me a place but scared the bejebus outta me.

Congrats Leuv, tough break ruskus and well done to Paul Jnr. KC reserves did ok Smiley.

my biggest appologies to Ruskus.....what timing....limped back almost to the pits with a puncture and busted suspention only to find Ruskus passing me at the apex whilst I was on the verge....there would have been no problem but, being on the grass the Saleen just wouldnt stop and I went sailing accross the track taking poor Ruskus with me.  Sad Sad Sad

other than that, I enjoyed it....determined to finish....no matter how far behind I got...and managed that goal just. having said that though it would probably have been wiser for me to retire (therefore avoiding the above :'(), but didn't realise how bad the damage was till too late.

Cant wait for the endurance.....I'll be in a MUCH slower car and will be able to drive with my eyes open. Wink

ps: sorry if i held you up at last chicane LEUVEN, was a tricky spot i was in and tryed my hardest to get out the way Tongue

Nothing you could really do there, apart from maybe brake a little earlier if you wanted me past you before the corner, if not then do as you did and wait until the exit.
One thing I did notice was that you came off the gas very early after the last part of the chicane (trying to hard to get out of the way I guess?)
Instead of accelerating out of the corner first then slowing down, thats why I gave you a little shove, as you caught me out by being very slow and coming across the track. Smiley
No harm done so it's no bother, especially as you were trying to let me past  Grin

Qually for me was not that good, as I somehow couldn't find my pace(must be the nerves as I'm getting older Roll Eyes)
Not complaining though as P2 is not to be sniffed at. Smiley

Race pace was also lower than expected but was quite consistent, didn't hit one single tyre. clap
But made a silly little mistake by taking too much curb at T2(right hander at T1) and had a half spin, as was Jeffrey's pace it ended up costing me 4 seconds or more. Shocked

Quite happy with the win as I was expecting to be up there challenging for it. Smiley
But not happy to have won in the circumstances with Jeffrey having an accident Sad no and even though I lost quite a lot of time behind backmarkers(through no fault of there own, though just the nature of the track) I didn't have an accident.
I guess its only fair as you've already won 4 this season Jeffrey, so it's time you shared a win. Tongue  Wink

Unlucky mate , I'm sure you'll destroy the Lap record at the Endurance. Smiley
A nice 1;2;3 for TS anyway, well done guys.

Always try to finish, it shows character. That it ended up badly is just bad luck.

You were quicker than me, so it looked like it could have been a great few laps to the finish as it's quite hard to overtake at Enna.

I was right about the amount of laps, but why didn't I listen to myself as I finished with 26L of fuel  Roll Eyes

Well what a disaster, so far off the pace it's just embarrassing  Undecided

If someone wants to send me a MC12 setup for mortals perhaps I'll make the effort for Sunday but otherwise I think I might sit it out. I know I'm not the quickest driver but I'm also not so bad that I'm really 6+ secs off the pace.
