Season 41 – Ferrari Challenge

Please check the Season 41 details regarding rules and the Ferrari Challenge Championship pages in particular.

This season, races are to be run at 60fps – please use this patch 60fpsV2newmod. If you have issues read fester's post.

Drivers must complete 50% of each race to score.

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: Various (see mod column in race calendar below).
Date: Every second Tuesday from 6th September 2022
Time: No later then 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: 50 minutes
Damage Model:  Intermediate
Server: UKGPL07
Race List: IGOR
Divisional Moderator: Pete Bennett

Handicapping
There is no handicapping, all drivers will be given a free choice of chassis to use provided it is a Ferrari.

Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents carry an extra 1 place penalty.

Only reported incidents will be moderated.

Now this looks like a interesting championship.

I suppose everything is final, though I still want to make the proposal to have Imola and Monza 10K switch places with each other,
given how how people will drive with little to no wing at all with the 69X, and I think this way the track+mod combos compliment better.

Good point well made Yannick. Pete is the divisional moderator so it would be his decision but it isn't too late to make a minor adjustment to the schedule.

Not surprisingly, these are the track/mod combos which I puzzled over too. I thought that an end of season battle at Monza10k without wings would be an awesome way to end the season.

However, Imola in the 69s with the benefit of downforce would also be great. The extra drag in the 66s will be fun at Monza.

So, my FINAL decision is to run round 3 in the 66 cars at MONZA10K. Round 8 at IMOLA in the 69 cars.

 In the same spirit, we could imagine for the future a "track" trophy, for example monza, with 10 mods, over 10 races, but always monza...
