You gotta check this track out, by far the best I've ever tried in any racing game. Combined with F1 1979 this is as close to perfection as I can get:

It possibly the best track ever made for rFactor, GTR, GTL and GTR2 combined. Its stunning, looks great and has good fps as well. Well worth checking out.

Nicely done tack, FPS is pretty good for rFactor too!

But I've said it before LeMans is not good for racing battles as you never see anyone and half the lap is spent doing nothing just holding the right foot down.

I'm not that enthusiastic about this track.

First of all it's so dark and dull. Everything is grey or brown, looks depressing Undecided. Even when the sun shines it's plain.

Also what Simon said, the layout is very boring, the straight is sooooooo loooooong  yawn. One of the few tracks that improved with a chicane.

I'll agree with that, WW2 shooters aren't black and white because they didn't have (many) colour camera's, so why are the colours crappy because the camera colour in the 70's wasn't what we have now (I think that's the reason)

So are you saying they made it that way because it looked like that on TV back then? If so it's weird, because I'm not watching, I'm driving, and I don't think they did that in those days via a tv  Grin

Well I know nothing extra than you, but it looks like how a lot of 70's films colours look to me, perhaps it was conscious, or not. I'm sure the colours were more vivid in real life though.
