Password: see above Sorry for the delay in setting this up - I haven't been able to get away for long enough to take the hour or 2 needed  Anyway! It was suggested to do something using the 3-11 at the end of the last race - So I had a go in it and here we go! We've raced at Snetterton before, so most of you should already have the track, the 16 lap race should take roughly 30 mins - I have no idea on the tire wear for these so it's a 'safe' guess! (If we need tires then we need tires  ) It'll be back to something classic next week - I know the track but need to decide on the car.  Timings:Practice: 19:30 - 45 mins) Qualifying: 20:15 - 15 mins) Race 1: 20:30 - 16 Laps) Cars allowed: Lotus 3-11 (Stock Kunos) Track: Snetterton 300Live Timing: stracker.simracing.org.uk:50041/lapstatTime of Day Setting: 13:30 Weather: Mid Clear Start: StandingTyre wear: NormalFuel consumption: normalServer track settings: SESSION_START=98 RANDOMNESS=2 LAP_GAIN=0.007% SESSION_TRANSFER=80 Damage: 70% |

I forgot to mention, and I don't know what Stefan was thinking about initially, but these cars to me get 'interesting' to drive when the electronic aids (ABS + TC) are turned off. |

That's my default for nearly everything 1st thing I always do before even thinking about put my cheeks into any modern.  Ok, need to learn that Snetterton now.. though I'm ill and unsure about Wed. |

yuk, modern i come here for my vintage racing fix  Not sure i've driven this thing in AC, will try it out. Turning off the leccy gubbins sounds more fun. |

It's actually good fun - I've never driven it before because it was modern, but it suits Snetterton nicely

Here is as good as anywhere... Can I ask those who drove the formula ford before my absence started what they thought of it? I'm considering it for next week (so I can have a go ) but don't want to run it if it wasn't popular... |

I was sat on my sofa with the puppy and trying to vaguely point it in the right direction using an Xbox pad via my Steamlink! Formula Fords are too twitchy to drive with ~200ms lag on the controls so I gave up and watched the race instead I'm thinking of running it as a special double header given the track anyway |

sorry guys, bloody router dropped twice tonight for some reason. It Waited until just before qually and then went again on first lap of race...grrrr  not had any internet issues all day, strange. Looked like i could have had a good little chase of Tim up front too  Hadnt tried the car until tonight but know the track well from many trackdays here. Nice mod of the track  and the car was fun to drive and really suited this circuit. |
