Is it possible to get a brakedown of the laps?  Just wondering.

What a disaster...no practice, no set-up, but the Shelby sounded beautiful, untill i smashed it into the barriers on several occasions...repeatidly  Undecided

Mmm...have to remember log on before 8:45 next time Embarrassed

Liked the track though, and most seem to have had some real fun out there  Cool

I really enjoyed the car/track combo, it seemed perfect for the GTC-65 cars.

The race was a disaster, I'll put my hands up and admit I wasn't very well prepared, it was an impulsive last-minute decision to attend and I thought I'd had enough experience in the Alpine. Luckily I didn't affect anyone else when I met my demise.

I won't join another GTL race without being better prepared Embarrassed

Well done to Adam, that's a great result mate  thumbup2

Oh btw, thanks to everyone that helped me get the right brake balance in the Ferrari...from the 100:0 from Pops Undecided, to the 50:50 from Jeff   Shocked and finally the 63:47 from Baracus Smiley. Using a complex statistical analysis of said settings, cross-referencing the suggestor's individual driving styles and then factoring in my own experiences (heading out of the pits, failing to brake adequately and then crashing into the first sharp right hander 3 times in a row), I finally plumped for 60:40, which served me admirably for the rest of qually and the race.

P.S. Apologies for also coming and going so much during qually. I was having some technical issues including the track reload bug and I ended up rebooting to fix it, which gave me about 10 minutes to practice, qualify and get ready for the race.

If anyone is interested here is a link to the video I have put together. (Very quickly). The longest part was to find a track long enough to accompany it.

Hope you enjoy.  Comments and suggestions very welcome. ie sound tracks, format etc etc

Thanks Dave, but there was no need, I had no chance: after getting knocked off in the 1st bend on the 1st lap I drove 32 laps with the thing wobbling all over the place. Didn't stop me having a great time battling against Bill Thomas and pseudo as he bounced from wall to wall!  laugh

Apologies to anybody who I slithered in the way of.

Phil Gilliland

Thanks Phil I enjoyed our virtually race long battle - the lap chart shows the close lap times with each of us making errors.  Grin  An enjoyable evenings racing I don't think, in this League, I've spent so much time racing against so many cars. clap
