Do the tyre brands make a difference and vary in characteristics?? ie. some makes better softs others more durable? Yes. Dunlops are generally considered to be the worst and Michelins the best. Obviously most cars only have 1 or 2 choices.

Great video Jeff, luved it!
Couldn't get the DivX one to work though, came up with "this is not a DivX file", probably got something to do with trying to view it on this poxy Windows 2003 machine!

I got the same message through Firefox and IE, and I'm running XP at work.

Thanks for the words guys. Indeed Godsmack, didn't expect anyone to recognize . You have to have an online DivX player or something. It should get linked when you don't have it. Really worth downloading, as the resolution is much better than Youtube and you can download it from there as well. I'll be using that DivX much more in the future, as it does the game/video more justice than Youtube.

Indeed Godsmack, didn't expect anyone to recognize . I have a fairly wide ranging music collection - got the Faces and Awake albums. Regarding the DivX - I've got it playing at home no problem - although I've got DivX at work too?

I've done a bit more digging into the .TYR files and I can't find any evidence to explain why the tires often seem to go through a very slippery patch around the 10 wear 'units' mark. It's all rather puzzling.

Cooool vid Installed that Divx thing too, much better quality I tried to make a vid of last season's Donington race, but my movie maker kept crashing constantly until I gave up. When I get a new PC this Sept and stick Vista on it, I'll have another go.

Woweee Jeff! That is some classy editing mate!
How on earth have you done some of those dynamic camera angles?? Where its not following a car in particular but zooming in and out to see stuff in the distance and panning around etc?? (not that I will understand anyway hehe!)
The synching to the breaks and beats in the music is superb!!! And the pace of the action matching up to the "quiet" bits of the song must have taken ages to work out! You should work for MTV or something!
