wow what fun! another raving review for Magny-Cours!!!!

was quite happy with 6th quali position as this is Masters after all !!! with MJ a tobacco papers width behind...and nothing changed in the race!!

...never had pressure like it where I have kept my cool!  unusual for me recently  Undecided

...almost nipped 5th pos early on when Leuven came off, had an opportunity to outbrake him but thought better off it as I know he is quick and he wud soon be back past!

The entire race I had MJ not more than 2.7 secs behind and got within 0.8 at one time! He was unlucky meeting traffic at Estoril twice gaining me a few tenths, which doesn't sound a lot but its all relative! We were so consistent and must have done the majority of our laps in the 1m39s!!! So happy when the race ended! and hope to have another good battle at Imola  Cheesy

I was hoping his tyres would go off or he would make an error but he drove superbly with great consistency. Nice one Purds, really enjoyed the chase. thumbup1 I wondered if i could have just got right on your bumper to force you into an error but you kept that breathing gap constant  Cool

Ditto mate, you wouldn't disappear out my rear view mirror! If i hadn't out-qualified you, you would have beaten me in the race...!  Shocked Grin

I spent most of praccy concentrating on my race setup using the new overlay PD (which is quality  Wink) and working out my eventual tyre wear....in the end opted for soft front and medium rears! And the highest worn tyre reading was only 18! not bad for 40mins hard slog!! yes

ps. bring on imola Paul R !  Wink ... i know you'll bounce back!!  Smiley

I need a server report to make the file, which normally comes with the replay.

Better luck with the connection Brian I hope you get it sorted. There can't be anything worse then enjoying the race one minute to be gone the next! It was quite a strange disco your car was stopped in Estoril when both me and Colin hit it. After recovering I am pretty sure I past it again so instead of disconnecting straight away it must have had gone very flakey first before finally giving up the ghost! The reason I asked about Sky is by coincidence someone at work was moaning about his but he couldn't get any internet connection at all so obviously a completely different problem there!

No worries Nev I was enjoying yours and Paul's battle up to that point!

Well done to Jeff on the championship, well deserved. I dunno where you get all that speed from, but I wish you'd donate your limbs to me! Grin. Also congrats to Mo who's wrapped up 2nd too, whilst Nev has won the GTC by a country mile, well done.

Also a team win for Team Shark in the GT2 class, well done lads! Congratulations.  thumbup2 Gonna need a good result at Imola to stave off the Kerb Crawlers in the GTC team championship though, especially as I'm not very good at Imola.

Looking at this, something seems wrong? How did Team Shark get 31 points at Anderstorp in GTC when Nev won the race in that class?

It was not to dissimilar to last disconnection.

I firstly notice that the time gap between me and the car behind me is not recorded, although I can still see him. Then no time for car in front although I can see him too.

I then does not record my next time over the start finish line and my position drops down the field, then it comes back to correct position.

Then shortly after disconnection.

Of late I have spent a few hours in open forum races without a single disconnection. I have used Sky since I have raced on here and that 2 disconnections in the last 4 races but until then none.

Hope it's just a case of bad luck.

I have been following Jures advice regarding resetting modem and router prior to racing

Nev wasn't racing for a team so didn't count in the points (same as UKGPL).

Something has gone screwy with the tooltips over the finishing positions though...

Ah - yes, I remember now. Wouldn't it make more sense though if drivers only scored for the place that they finish in, including the non-team drivers? Giving a driver a stack of team points for finishing near the back just because those in front don't have a team seems a bit wrong.
