Three more hectic races in this hectic car. This on my most hated Silverstone version; all those slow corners and the never ending hairpin - did Tilke design this? Add to that the two starting grids, both leading into right handers, which are a constant source of confusion to me; keep thinking I'm somewhere else on track.
Race 1 chasing after Ziu, expecting Geoffers behind me to become a problem, but never materialized, so kept 3rd.
Race 2 punted off at T1 after the start, losing places. Made up two from Clive & Tony respectively, when each had twitchy moments. Later gained another one, for another 3rd, when Ziu retired.
Race 3 chasing after Geoffers, while soon caught and passed by Daz. After he had passed Geoffers as well, there was a huge cloud of tyre smoke ahead, which I entered with some trepidation, as I couldn't see where the source of it was. Thankfully didn't collide with Geoffers, and passed him later that lap, when he went wide. Puzzling intermezzo with Daz followed, where he pretended to run wide in T1, gifting me the lead. Laws of the Universe soon restored though, so he could scoop up yet another win.
Grats to Daz on the new hattrich, and to Ziu, Geoffers & Clive respectively for their podiums.
Daz' self imposed ban on qualifying obviously isn't preventing him from winning at leisure, so maybe the next rule should be that he must remain stationary for the entirety of the first lap...
