I have been looking for a decent single seater simulator as I want to play with formula renault style cars. From the sounds of it GTR2 is the best racing sim but doesn't have single seaters. So I then came across netkar pro. It looks pretty good and I am downloading the demo as we speak but does anyone know of a better alternative for single seat racing or is this a good one to get?

Cheers

Formula BMW for rFactor is supposed to be quite good too...

Unfortunately, NK Pro has never got the support, from either publisher or joe public, it deserved. However one league keeps on battling against the tide and can be found here http://forum.gpchampionship.com/ . I can highly recommend it as a league and I still enjoy NK. If your after single player fun forget it unless you like hotlapping, no NPC I'm afraid.

As for single seat racing I couldn't recommend RF yet. Other mods are good (Megane, caterhams, etc) but the single seater mods, so far, lack something to me. For me, they don't get close to NK Smiley

Ginsters is spot-on with his analysis  thumbup2

Ideally, buy both and see what you prefer.

Spot on for Ginsters.

NK and GPC make a good combination.

Some nice videos on youtube from the FR2000 and F1800 races:

I think nK is the best "sim" ever, it's everything else which lets it down (multiplay, amount of tracks, lack of different car types, nobody to race against). I still race it and still love it when I do!
