Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 319s

Picnic is approaching the last chicane after Lycee, and As-here makes a lunge up the inside. Pete leaves room, they try to go through together but As-here tries to take the line through the second part of the chicane and there is contact and Pete spins out.

As-here is never level before turn-in and therefore didn't have the corner. Pete did well to leave him room and had every right to turn in on him. There is not really enough space for 2 cars through there and it was a silly place to try and overtake, especially as it was early in the race.

  • as-herepenalty — over-ambitious overtake — 2 places lost

Server replay time: 1136s

TrueTom is following Fozz very closely as they approach Chateau D'Eau. Foz moves initially to the left but then moves back to the right and brakes at the same time. TrueTom rear-ends him and Fozz is nurfed off the track.

Because Fozz changed his line from the normal racing line and also braked early and changed line at the same time, this gave Tom very little chance to avoid contact. The best course would have been either to stay right after the chicane or to have stayed left and braked normally. Changing line and braking early with a car very close behind is probably not a good idea.

Server replay time: 1465s

Fozz is following Chris Bull into the Imola chicane. Chris gets it a bit wrong and cuts across the gravel on the first part. This slows him down a lot mid corner and Fozz rear-ends him.

No-one to blame here. Fozz couldn't avoid contact as Chris slowed a lot mid corner.

WhooHoo! Just managed to break 1:44 at Magny - well chuffed  Grin

I think I'm finally beginning to 'get' this track, man it's tricky. Possibly the trickiest track in GTR.

Race pace is looking a fair bit slower, something like 1:48 but that's tomorrow's practice session  Wink

Off to drink some Hoegaarden now, I've heard that's what Schumacher trains on  Wink

Is the Seat allowed in NGT sprint?

Oops, seems it is allowed only in the GT Sprint.

What would you guys consider to be an average NGT lap time here? I'm down to 1:48 in the GT3RS, but I find it is a really complex circuit and I'm struggling to better that.

Reckon I'm not too far from average  Wink

I can run for 30mins putting in mostly 1:45's with a few 1:44's.

That's against the AI though, against the elite of UKGTR tonight will be a different kettle of fish!

1:44's should be good enough m8, leaves 1 sec for me Wink Cheesy. Just make sure you don't stop the N-GT Lambo, which will be all over your *ss m8!  Cheesy

Intention is to leave the passwords unchanged. We will change them only if we have to, then a post will be made and new emails sent out.

If last night's anything to go by Tyf, the only sniff you'll get of my *ss (ewww...) is watching it disappear as you sail off the track at turn 1!  Wink

Just been turning a few practice laps, looks like I'm pretty close.  1:42's in race trim, even with the 2 turns that I find really evil.  This track is hard.

Shit game strikes again.

Leading with about 9 mins to go after the taking the lead on about lap 2 when pole sitter hit the wall coming out of last corner. Felt quite content that I would get the win and bang, 1FPS bug. First time I've had that in ages, let's hope it's the last.

Oh well. Off to pub.
