like the car choice but know nothing about the track will d/l and take a look see edit, nice track but dont particularly like the third sector in these cars, they feel a bit ponderous in the tight uphill twists. Love the brute turbo power of this car. ps there was no server up, i had to drive offline.

At first I agree it looks like the track is too sinuous for that beast. Then it gets more comfortable as long as one learns to acclimate.. And she's just gorgeous.

Server is fine, as Tim suggested a couple weeks ago, type "org.uk" to find Wed's server.

still no server up? Well, I found the server no problem. It reports I don't have the right track, I downloaded v0.91 again. Dumped the track installed, then added it again from the new download, it's still the same. There's little doubt it's probably me (thick as ), just in case though, I thought I'd report. And sorry Mark, I still won't be racing...

Then I probably should report something weird too : I have both Autopolis versions and when I get in server it 'pre-picks' the other version's folder of my car setups. Looks like if there was at least one common file between the two that bring the mess ? Something to check about Tim ?

Err Me too... Are you sure the server is set to the new version? We must have used the old one at some point.
I deleted the old folder... copied the new one across, only downloaded it at the weekend, but can't see the server.
Undeleting the old folder means i an now see the server...
And i would go so far as saying this version above, the M08_autopolis looks worse in some aspects to the original. In fact i didnt recognise the track as its like alot of the scenery has been removed which made the track quite narrow and tight in places.

The server is currently set with the older track version we had not the one pointed to above.

I don't see why it's done that - opening my server files on my PC and they're correct.. I've re-uploaded and re-started it, hopefully it works as I still need to practice!

well that race evening sucked a bit unfortunately. I'd only had a half hour spell of practise offline on sunday. Missed all of race nights practise due to my gearstick suddenly not showing up on my pc and had to do reboots and full power down to get it back just in time for qually I just didnt find any rhythm with this lovely car at this track and cant say i enjoyed the combination. I think this turbo brute deserved a track to be able to open the taps up, like Road America or suchlike, but possibly more down to my lack of familiarity with either track or car. It just felt clumsy in the third sector. Plus with only 4 guys turning up to race, it was a non-event from the start. At the startline my car was already in gear and it gave me yellow gearbox damage before we'd even started then about 15-20mins in, the gearbox became worse and worse, turned red, then died leaving me with a box of neutrals. End of. Did the stock setup suck? i lowered the gear ratio and increased rear wing to 5 (possibly not high enough for here) but that was all i had time to test. When i tried stiffening it up a bit, it just felt worse.
