All members welcome.

The primary purpose of this race is to test the new UKGTL Skin Pack v1.4. If all goes well this will be the final pre-season event before UKGTL Season 3 kicks off.

Practice: 20:15 (10 mins)
Qualifying: 20:25 (25 mins)
Race: 20:50 (14 laps = ~40 mins)

Track: Spa
Cars allowed: AC Cobra, Corvette '65, TVR Griffith 400, Shelby Daytona Coupe, Lotus Elan, Jaguar E-Type
Time of Day Setting: 07:00
Start: STANDING

Server: UKGTL Pre-Season 3
Password: available from the event page (see the Show Password link under the announcement text)

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) This race and the upcoming season 3 will be run using the UKGTL Skin Pack 1.4 which will need to be installed prior to racing; please get it from the downloads page.

Daytona or Jag time  Grin

I would point out that the Jag is the slowest of this bunch, but it's there so that the aliens can choose something slower and still be the same pace as everyone else. Wink Wink

I'll be there in a Daytona or E-Type  Cool

Is the E-Type really that slow then Simon ?  Only used it twice and loved it, and it certainly gave Jeff a hard time in his yank job at A1-F1

The yank-tank never really got to stretch it's legs that much - and the GT350 is not that rapid in any case.

If the E-Type is going to get a kicking I'm happy to take the Daytona, new paint job and all.

Indeed, the Gt350 is one of the slowest in it's class, but it's a blast to drive, and that's all that matters  Grin

BTW, do we have to remove the old folder skins?
Or we just can put the new ones to the GTL main folder? Embarrassed

1.4 is just 1.3 with more skins, so you can just install 1.4 over the top of 1.3.

So...what sort of times are 'normal' for Spa?.....never driven it before so may be inclined to take the slower but familiar E-Type....unless I learn the circuit well enough and I may go for some thing a bit quicker...so I can keep up with the other jags... Roll Eyes
