Hi all

We have launched the full website for RACE 07, including lots of new information and material.
   http://www.race-game.org
Hope you will all drop by, give it a look and get exited about it.
Let me know if you miss anything on the website or have other comments.

For those of you with communities located in Germany , England and Italy it’s worth mentioning that the “SimBin Get Real Centre” will join the WTCC rounds there.
You can test drive RACE 07, and with a bit of luck maybe sneak into the ForceDynamics we bring along Wink Oh yeah and catch some real life WTCC action while you are there.

On a different note, we are considering running a “Developers Diary” for future titles.
If you have any requests for areas of game development you want to know more about, then let me know and I will add it to my little list.

Not much more for me to say this time other than RACE 07 is scheduled for release this autumn.. still lots of work to do, but we are getting there.
The new title is a step up from RACE in all aspects. More cars, more tracks, better performance, better stability, many new features and an overall new feel to the game.

Best Regards:

Nice! The new screenshots look pretty good. It looks like the damage modelling has had a big overhaul.

Nice website, the game's looking good too, although two of my bug bears are still not fixed in those screenshots. Graphically the rain spray is still coming from the rear bumper and not the tyres and the lights still don't appear to actually project onto anything, they are just different textures for the lights (i.e. they don't actually DO anything!).

Support for skins, improved AI + online AI (not convinced about wanting the latter), multiplayer improvements, more cars and extra detailed tracks, performance and from I heard the sound effects are fixed from the awful ones in RACE (other than Caterhams). Looking forward to it!!

Remember the ridiculous uproar over the non-working window wipers in GTR2?

Functioning window wipers allow you to sweep away both rain and insects.

Phew!

Thank god for that, I was really worrying about working wipers whilst racing bonnet cam.

But... but... what if a bird poops on your windscreen? It says they only work on rain and insects!
