Moderator's Report

Backo's Alfa gets a slight overlap on Simon's Mini approaching the corner. Simon leaves some room but Backo does not and forces his way past. The contact is minor, but barging in order to gain a position is not acceptable. In the more powerful car, with a little patience Backo should have been able to make a clean pass on a straight.

  • BACKOpenalty — Side-by-side contact. — 2 places lost (plus 8 for penalty points)

I hope you all had a huge fun
As for me:
Im affraid, i will be out for inderteminate days
I am typing from my daughter´s PC, because my is rebooting as a mad one :?
Yes, some times it loads the Windows, but after 2 minutes it begins to reboot.
But most of the times, it reboots when the scroll windows settings begin to load.
I already changed the graphic card, the memory units and i even put a powerfull wind
maker to cool the PC. Didnt work
What could it be???
Any help?

Cheers

In my experience, the power supply would be a serious contender. I've had several let go over the years, and the nice thing is that they are cheap to change.

Thanks Paul, will try that Smiley

Enjoyable race, got a good start and screwed it braking for T1 and skidded across track.  Apologies to anyone I hit/delayed.

2 apologies to Zacari, firstly at the last turn I was so busy trying to see if you'd got by OK I roared past my braking point and skidded across your bows.  The second time you were behind, conscious of this, I kept left and braked early for T1 to let you pass but obviously after your first scare you were careful and I slowed you down -SORRY.

I can only see the power supply causing this if it's like on it's last last days, otherwise there's nothing really going on that should drain the supply enough to cause it to reboot the PC. Have you tried re-installing windows?

Ultimately it would probably come down to the tried-tested-and-true reformatt

Could not get near my pb I had in practise to quallify and resulted in me starting 14.  Had a fair start but disappointed as I was the one that rear ended Dave early on(very sorry).  Mid way through the race I came over the chicane to see a red alfa had slid and was facing the wrong way and proceeded to take up all the track which resulted in me having nowhere to go exept hitting it head on.  After the collision I had to fight like hell to keep the alfa going with  broken suspension.  A few laps later, same chicane two blue alfas had swapped a bit of paint work and one was on its roof and had to take avoiding action not to ruin the car anymore.

Well after a few more laps and balding tyres the alfa seemed not to want to stay on the track and in frustration hit the dreaded esc button once again and immediatly regretted it.  Not to worry only first race, an excellent turnout lets hope it continues.

Video on way for al thoses interested.
