The new skin pack has been released and is available from the downloads pages.

This version has no success ballasts - after tonight's test at Sugo I believe we will be able to use GTR2 Manager to achieve success ballasting in a more flexible way.

There will probably be a mid-season update for any extra skins or ballast changes which are needed; the latter should be less likely with the new success ballast process.

Installed it all last night and all seemed when, worked a treat as usual.

I gave it a wee go today but once or twice after loading track, when it comes up loading "Brian Kerr" the game shut down.

It does work other times perfectly ok.

Same car, different car? Same track, different track?

Same everthing. It was on the practice server.

Works most times, just a few times it does not.

Started a game off line with full grid and all is well.

I have connected to the server with no problems...using a couple of different cars.

It could be to do with the removal of the old skin pack. Make sure all references to the old pack have been removed before installing the new one.

It automatically removes the old skin pack when installing

Thats true...but you can get the odd 'rogue' file hiding from the installer.....John found two such items...removed them manually and is now on the server with no probs. Smiley

ps. I left some text in the README saying that this version is 'experimental' - it isn't.
