Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 478s

Having nearly run into the back left corner of Darren in turn 8, and come very close to rear ending him in a number of other turns on the same lap, Filipe Marques runs smack into the back of Darren's Morgan in the final turn; contact is relatively light but Darren is pushed into the gravel.

Filipe does the honorable thing and slows along the straight until Darren catches and passes him, both cars losing a fair number of places and a lot of time in the process.

Filipe is quick but has not yet learned the importance of caution, driving within one's own abilities and taking account of the abilities of those one is racing with - an important part of league participation.

  • Filipe Marquespenalty — contact with Darren — 2 places lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 478s

Shark uses the massive torque of the Viper engine to haul in Reign Man's MC12 along the main straight. As the approach turn 1, RM squeezes him further and further to the right, even after Shark starts to gain some overlap with his car, until Shark has to run over the grass before getting back onto the pit exit lane.

As they reach the turn in point, Shark's car veers left a little, but Reign Man completely fails to turn in. The cars make contact and the MC12 is turned across the nose of the Viper, and both go into the gravel trap.

One of the driver's reports was disappointingly terse and provided no useful information on their perspective or state of mind.

Shark's chances of actually pulling off an outside pass here were optimistic. At the same time, Reign Man had no right to squeeze him off the track having made a move to a defensive inside line - forcing Shark onto the grass almost certainly was a major factor in the contact.

Backo nearly collides with Shark after a late (and unreported) lunge by Truetom (who waited afterwards) puts him into the same gravel trap.

  • Reign Mancaution — forcing another driver off the track

Server replay time: 2265s

Reign Man has run off the track in the final corner and in attempting to rejoin he chooses completely the wrong moment to hit the throttle and puts himself broadside across the track right in front of Popabawa's Vertigo.

  • Reign Manpenalty — dangerous rejoin — 2 places lost

Server replay time: 3209s

Mo is lapping Popabawa's Vertigo around the outside of turn 5. Pops exits the corner as normal and gets caught out by Mo's car (which is off line) being slower out of the corner, the Vertigo running into the Maserati and spinning it out.

I'm unsure what penalty should apply here as it's an unusual situation; since Mo chose not to report it, I'll be generous.

  • popabawawarning — contact with Mo
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 4772s

Filipe Marques shows better restraint as he catches Adam Parle's Vertigo near the end of the race, but he makes a horlicks of an overtaking attempt into turn 8, not even getting alongside before Adam turns in, and then sliding his Morgan into the side of Adam's car, almost pushing him into a spin and taking the place anyway. There were still a few laps left and Filipe would've gotten past the Vertigo easily on the main straight.

Adam had the last laugh as Filipe spins a lap later, inadvertently handing the place back.

  • Filipe Marquespenalty — contact with Adam Parle — 2 places lost

No Thanks - not keen on racing vipers in a cup car. You had better put me in lower GT2 and upper GTC.

Could you swap me from GT2 to GTC please in the Lower endurance....If its required that is....or would it make any difference if I only turned up in a GTC car?

Definitely the wrong thread... but the ideal would be that you switch to GT1 in Upper Endurance and GTC in Lower...

Bombardier Ginsters is more than happy with the new, improved, Michelin shod, flying Morgan thank you  Smiley. Its a different animal now thanks Dave. The rest is unfortunately up to us.

Gotta say I'm a bit dissapointed that it lags quite a way behind RS, in my extensive 10 lap session, but who wants to drive a 911? Wink

Dave - can i have a full time spot in Upper Endurance GTC, or are these full?
Otherwise should i just enter as a reserve, and if so can i enter GTC if i required?

I'm in two minds between GTC & the G2 993 Porsche at present - i can more or less garauntee attendance every Sunday eveing however...

They're full at the moment but if past seasons are anything to go by there will be reserve places - GTC is fine.

I've got a dilemma  Huh.

I've signed up for racing at beracing.be . A belgium league in which you can win a TrackIR if you win the champ. Champ is already halfway and in theory I can still win it (eventhough I haven't driven a race yet, there are still enough points).
I really would like to have Track IR, but as season is only half way and I drive a Lister there, it's a very small chance I'd win that.
They start at 7:00 pm and will finish 8:30. By that time Q has started here and it could be that I won't be able to join by then.
If there is still a spot in Q then I can do both races, if not, I'll have to drop Beracing.
Any help/advice from high up?
