Can't remember how I overtook TT , but I do know that FreQ thought T1 was a hairpin . U cheeky monkey. My back-end-out T1 styleee works perfectly...unless I don't catch it :p many commiserations to the track greedy Freq! ta for the place mate!! Yea yea yea Argh, better qualy than I thought in second, R1 was tight with me and Backo until I got a stop/go which put me into 9th - got past Jonzo on the last lap to make it 8th...woooo R2 was nuts, with a crazy start getting to 2nd, then a great battle with TT and going side by side for what....3 or 4 corners?! Awesome Then my slidey T1 style let Jeff past....then I did it again.....then I stayed about 1-ish seconds behind him for a few laps. Then I cut again on the last friggin lap and had too pit again...8th place....woooo The track cutting is an awesome idea and works really well. Shame I can't stop cutting the second chicane GR all

Well done everyone...pretty decent races for our first outing in this format. I don't know why but I was doing mid 1:53's for fun all day and in qually...but best lap in races was 1:56 Have no idea where I lost 3 secs a lap . Started first race mid table..11th I think but, as is the norm, soon found myself scrapping for last . Second race started 2nd with the reversal (which worked ) but got tagged into turn 1 and ended up in 13th by turn 2....ah well...I'm not used to being near the front anyway. Thanks to all that made it and for selecting the correct car after the noob that started the server forgot to alter the settings well done JR....how can we stop you? ??

Admittedly that was prolly was less fun than 811 race. Either the Viper or the track didn't make for the closest of racing. Having said that, I still had much fun Race 1 had a nice battle with Darren. He whizzed past me on the straight bits and I'd outbrake him into the curvy bits. Took me a while to adjust cause, as Dave mentioned, Darren seemed to brake far earlier than I guessed but that was a result of a very different setup I think. Nice. Race 2 and it was back to battling PR for a change . Great fun as always mate and nice to come out on top for a change. We'll do it again (Wednesday I bet ). Realise things didn't go perfectly, particularly the standing start may have to be reviewed, and we are open to constructive criticism. I did think reversing the grid seemed to work well (old Pseudo is getting faster ), pleasing to hear what Ruskus said and would be interested to hear what the other fast chaps think of it. As its really designed to give them some extra fun/challenge. Also nice to see some new faces tonight. You'll be more than welcome again next week . Hope I got your entries right in race results.

As its really designed to give them some extra fun/challenge. Monza has a big strip of tarmac on the right, which made it possible for me to gain almost 10 places. This isn't the case at other tracks which will make it much more difficult. It did give me a challenge the second race, behind FreQ. Twitsy tracks with slower cars will be much more difficult (Adria).

Don't worry, Picnic, things happen with too many pedals. Race 2 - like Freq wrote, we were side by side through some corners, always managed to let space to another. Cheeky Ruskus was just waiting for the outcome and when I danced over some kerbs I lost half a second and both drove away. Then I was watching my back where Backo and Madd-Ripp were slowing themselves down and let me finish 3rd. Oh, wait - 2nd. Bad luck, Freq. Great fun, these fun races. Looking forward to the next, though some other car might be more fun. Good show, Legends and Leg-ends. TT

Well i had fun for my 1st foray into your racing league, even if i'm not in it, was still fun being out there. Hopefully i can get my setups and stuff improved and stay on par with the slower trafffic. Still getting my rig setup and happy with all the cars as my momo is a bit outdated and only runs well on XP. Seat time is maily what i lack, been a while since i done competetive racing...N2003 was the last league racing i done in stock cars so this is a lil bit of a change of pace and a learning curve on the setups and different car behaviours. Hopefully i didn't mess anyone up troo much out there.
Crash.

Your brakelight was constantly on, so you might have to check your MOMO pedals.

Really enjoyed the format. For me, single make 20 minute races are the holy grail, and strangely enough I like this viper, it's as stable as a super tanker although it sounds like a bee breaking wind in a can . Race 1 rocked. Started last after missing qually again and had great fun being hunted down by PA. Amazingly I didn't just throw it off the black stuff which is what I usually do if another car is within 200 yards of my rear bumper. PA had some sort of problem, which freed me up to chase MJ which was a bit of a surprise as he's out of my league so far and kindly enough at this race he drove into the gravel at the last corner to give me 9th I think . Race 2 was fun but not so good. I think I punted Ossie off at the last turn on lap 1 , which was totally my fault as I missed the brake point whilst looking at another viper along side me, sorry fella. After letting him back on in front we ran together until I hit a spinner which took the front of my car off. That gave me uber understeer which caused me to be slow in front of RM who then taped me into a spin. I was actually looking for a place to let him past when he taped me which was a shame. After waiting and letting me rejoin in front I flashed him past as the only reasonable thing to do given that I'd be a few seconds slower than normal. All in all great fun and long may this sort of thing continue

I really dislike the Viper, and Monza isn't a preffered track.
I think I sealed the final nail when I spent to much time with the M3 for Sunday/Tuesday's race. Trying to make the adjustment from an M3 to a Viper in an hour and a Half is a bit tricky. I was doing consistant 1:54:300s when I was offline practicing in the Viper a week ago, but I lost all that speed come Tuesday. I hate Monza in general, and the stricter (but much needed) cutting rules made it tough to manage the understeer of an American car without cutting corners. I didn't manage that well and Ended up going for a Stop/Go on lap 9. Came back out on my last lap and caused someone to roll at Ascari. Not to sure who it was, but I beleive they were likely done the race, as I was 1 Lap back, and they were doing about 40km on the racing line - if you still were racing, I apologize, I came blazing out of Ascari to fast to stop in time.
I enjoy this series alot, as Single make races always make for some tight racing, however I wasn't fond of this Car/Track combo. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE M COUPES THO! (Even tho it will be a boring looking grid)

Done some testing and have added some dead zone to my brakes and and steering to free up the wheel and hopefully that will cure my dragging a boat anchor behind me as i go lol Thanks for the heads up. Crash141

Here you go TT 17/9 Monza-Viper (best to have S6 track in first week cause we've already prolly had enough of said track going into 2nd week?) 24/9 Barca National-Elise 1/10 Adria-811 8/10 Donni National-BMW 15/10 Spa-Exige GT (from here http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=2027 ?) Been looking for other mods from there but can't see much that would be suitable. These are confirmed and we don't want to go much further without a mid-season review. The championship page does give track details and we'll see if we can add car details there as well. Anybody found any other mods by the way? The Exige one is a blast

Some mods: Panoz GTR1 Mod Version 3.0: Haven't tried it and doubt about the legality Porsche Carrera Cup 2006 V2 with physics update: Also haven't tested it, but heard good things about it. It was good for rFactor and might prove okay for GTR2. Just a shame it's another Porsche Mazda MX-5 Cup: Dunno about this one, not tried and and not sure about the mod itself in general. AUDI RS4 MOD: Heard great things about this one, worth tryin I think. Mod Prototypes 2000-2004 SCC: Something different from usual GTR2 cars which might be fun for a change. MMM V8 Supercars 2006: This mod is great, great sounds and nice physics. Small drifts and bumper to bumper racing on one of the Aussie tracks. I know many are not fit for GT3, but so isn't the Exige as well. Maybe go from GT3 cup to just cup races?
