PRibeiro makes a late passing attempt into banc sabadell catching Ossie and spinning him.
PRibeiro waited for Ossie to resume and gave the place back so penalty reduced.

Server replay time: 1243s

Approaching turn 1 Ossie was closely following PRibeiro but was caught out under braking resulting in rear contact.

Ossie waited for PRibeiro to resume and gave the place back so penalty reduced. Credit must go to both drivers for doing the "right" thing throughout their race long battle.

Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 371s

Darren locks up and runs wide at Banc Sabadell where Ossie takes the opportunity well and passes keeping a tight line through the turn. Darren regains control but turns into Ossie resulting in minor contact. There is then further minor contact as both cars head onto the straight as Ossie runs slightly wide leaving little room for Darren. There was no harm done to either driver through either points of contact and Ossie rightly kept the place he had gained. At this point however, Darren showed a little frustration and wrongly flashed his lights at Ossie causing some distraction. Darren, to his credit, did admit he was wrong to do so and sent an appology to Ossie immediately after the race.
Following this both cars arrive at turn one side by side where, each obviously trying to outbrake the other, both cars lock up and Ossie is unable to make the turn in being on the outside line.

Reviewing the replay we noticed a number of other minor incidents and some good, battling driving between Ossie and Darren for long periods in the race.

Close racing will always have it's share of this type of stuff...basically rubbing bumpers and each driver trying his best to outdo the other.

These are pure racing incidents.

Thanks to all those who span, crashed and generally demolished their Elises in order to help me gain a podium.  Not sure how long it will last though as I gave Psuedo a bit of a love tap in T1, but seeing as we were both already off the track it may slip by unnoticed  Grin

Both those races, especially race 2 were just about as much fun as you can have in front of a computer.  For me the racing was close throughout, the battles fair and lengthy, I adore this track, reminds me of spa for some reason, with that sandy chicane as a mini eau rouge perhaps  Undecided laugh
The elise is a great little car and I managed to sucessfully defend 3rd from PRibeiro, which was the best bit of all  angel

Madd - you dog! you took me in the second race by an insect's pubic hair - LOL.  Fair enough tho', you were way faster - if only you hadn't binned it.

TC
Well yes I had made a fubar start and tapped SBG so waited for him to rejoin  :'( , then tried to beat Baracus and build loads of sandcastles  Tongue , but then just went for it, a few people in font slid off and saw you and SBG scrapping up ahead so tried my best to close in on you both, and as you said, made it by a whisker, didn't you see me waving at you through my side window??  Cheesy .

And the first race was a blast , I just couldn't go much quicker and catch Ruskus by a meaningful amount towards the end, .1 or .2 was the best I could do , still thoroughly enjoyable set of races, this series rocks!! Lets hope it's a permanent fixture!

Quallied much better than expected but could not match my times in praccy of late 112's.  First three quarters of the first race went fine and then a lot of little errors crept in which resulted in me falling further and further down the grid.

The last quarter was very dissappointing for me as I rear ended Pribeiro at t1 and was totally gutted.  Waited like forever for him to catch back up and lost loads of places which was entirely my fault. (many many appologies pr will submit report).

Race 2, even more of a mare.  Started in pole due to early finishers and made a right balls up of t1 again and ended up 2 from last.  At the uphill right hander hit the dip and was thrown on to the gravel, I got totally frustrated and did reached for the escape button again(what a t**t).  Next race I think I will put the keyboard out of arms reach.

Grats to podiums.  see you all next time if my misses doesn't throw the pc out after all the time lately I am spending on it.

Actually she mentioned to me this week that I spend more time with Madd than I do with her(work and online racing) nothing else I must add.

It's not worth mentioning John IMO...I was already on the grass taking avoiding action myself, you just helped me along a bit Wink and even I, (being such an Incident Ogre angel) can't expect folk to stop or manouver on the green stuff.  Grin  So don't worry, unless someone else reports you for anything your podium is safe.

Its close, but sorry Darren we have been out voted. Seems that Adria will be the next venue. It was TT's shouting that won the vote Wink. Think the twisty nonsense will suit the 811 and if it doesn't we know who to blame Smiley

Thanks for your words ossie, but you´d hit me unintentionally, as i hit you before  Cool sorry for that aswell.
Nothing more than a race incident.  Smiley
