Hi if possible would like to try the 67 f2 cars .
You are in. I've put you in with the Amateurs which is probably the right group for you judging by your results when you last raced with us in 2015. You've done a lot of GTL racing since then so you may be a lot faster than I give you credit for. If you turn out to be too fast for the Amateurs, I will move you up. Good luck in the F2s, they are fun to drive.

Hi Phil Thanks for entry. re:  being to fast i do not think so i loved on line in GTL but 99% of the time was last over the finish line and became a bit of a road block so quit before i ruined other pilots races.

Welcome, good to see you here Rog.

I think that you will find that the bigger grids and wider spread of pace will provide you with some great fun. Always better to be in a close race than simply lapping an almost deserted track  Wink

Is someone experiencing big FPS drop in Bulawayo?!?
Tonight I'm just trying it for the first time with the Protos and I had few FPS on some track sections, especially from the exit of the last corner to the finish line...

Yes. I was putting this down manly to my ancient machine, but at entry to the last corner & down the start/finish straight was seeing as bad as 30 FPS. When alone on track.

Both online (UKGPL11 + UKGPL07 earlier) and offline testing.

What did seem to help was setting track options to display MANY objects instead of ALL (but this then removes the trees).
Otherwise, with ALL, removing the object textures from the mirrors. This seems to have helped me.

Thx for the hints Dave.

I tried but it doesn't not solve such an issue: some laps are better then other ones but suddendly the FPS are dropping again.

I guess it's related to the F2 carset (I got the original one), as I tried some laps with the F1 carset and I didn't experience tha same issue at all.

Then I downloaded the F2 carset Phil uploaed here few weeks ago and it's working better than my former one, without the need to reduce the details.
Better means only that the issue is now happening less often than before.

Unfortunately a lite version of the F2 carset doesn't exist.

See you on track.

Cheers from Monza
