Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 515s

Pedro runs wide, allowing Adam Parle to get past. Pedro turns into the next corner, giving Adam a minor bump. Pedro had a late view of Adam's car, but should have been aware that his mistake would let Adam get past, and left more room accordingly.

Server replay time: 523s

At the next corner, Pedro does not have any overlap at turn-in, but he forces his way up the inside. There is contact and Pedro takes the place.

Server replay time: 715s

Pedro is some way behind Adam approaching one of the chicanes, but brakes too late and spins Adam around.

Server replay time: 752s

Adam runs wide and half onto the grass, allowing Pedro to close up. On the exit to the corner, Pedro accelerates into the back of Adam. Pedro had a good view of Adam, and should have lifted to avoid contact.

Server replay time: 1359s

Zacari makes a slightly untidy exit to the right hand hairpin, allowing Mark Jonzo to get a bit of a run on him. Mark is just behind approaching the chicane. Zacari turns in, and there is contact as Mark has just left his nose in, the front of his car is level with Zacari's rear axle. Zacari is spun across the track, and is passed by Mark and Mo.

Mark should have either gone for the pass decisively or backed out, he did not get a significant overlap before turn in. However, he escapes with a warning on this occasion, as I think Zacari could have left a bit more room without badly compromising his entry to the chicane, which might have been enough to prevent the contact.

Server replay time: 1661s

Mark Jonzo is some way behind Zacari approaching the hight hand hairpin. He brakes too late, locks the wheels and hits Zacari's car hard, damaging it and spinning him around.

Server replay time: 2102s

Mark Jonzo is some way behind Zacari approaching a left hander. Mark moves across in the braking zone and attempts a pass. Fortunately Zacari sees him coming in his mirrors and takes a wide line, avoiding contact. Mark locks up badly, but just manages to make the corner.

This was an over-ambitious passing move by Mark's, he was much too far behind to make a safe pass. He achieved no overlap at turn-in, so was not entitled to dive up the inside.

Server replay time: 2927s

Pedro is coming around to lap Psuedo. He appears to miss his braking point, and hits Pseudo hard.

Server replay time: 2945s

Pedro bumps Don heading into one of the haripins.

Server replay time: 2958s

Pedro hits Don quite hard under braking for one of the chicanes. As a result Don is slow out of the corner, which allows Pedro to get alongside and take the place.

had a few good battles but spent most of my time playing catch up after losing a bit of time whilst being lapped..that Viper grunt left no option but to lift off alot to allow the front runners through coz of the shortness of the straights. Was lapping ok, very few errors (for me) and was never too far behind whichever car was infront....and when I did drop back a bit seemed to make the time up again quite quickly.

Thought I was in for taking a place though just after the pit stop. Had been chasing Dan Minton down for a good few laps and managed to get ahead when he ran off at the 'chicane'. I had to pit on the following lap though as the tyres were ever so slightly worn Roll Eyes. I think Dan pitted 2 laps after me and exited the pit lane as I passed the s/f line. Then on cold tyres he ran wide into turn 2 and I thought 'nows my chance' only to have a lapping car try a really late and utterly unneccessary pass on the apex from miles back that could easily have put us both out the race Shocked. ended up 12 secs behind Dan then with little hope of making it up.

The vast majority of lapping cars were fantastic...waited for the flash from me and showed a lot of patience..excellent. There were (apart from the above) a couple that tried very late darts to the apex of the corner, especially at turn 1 and a little contact was made, but no harm done fortunately.

All in all not too bad...still don't like the track much...it was better with single makes on mondat night, so maybe the sprint on tuesday will be good.

Grats to winners and podiums...and Backo Grin  well done mate. Wink

I was never going to compete with the GTC aliens for raw speed so tried to go the whole race on one set of tyres and the briefest of stops. Wear was far greater than off-line practice, grip was far less and things got really hairy towards the end. (Sorry Dave). 80 minutes hard work to make up one whole place on qualification - really glad to see the finish flag.

Sorry to any faster cars I held up. I think I got it right most of the time especially when you chose to overtake on the straights!

Qualified 9th - just couldn't get a good lap in and 2 CTDs didn't help.  Sad
Had a great tussle with Paul968, very fast in his RS.  Cool  Finished 5th, 4th in class.  Smiley
Was counting on Backo to slow Robert down in the last minutes, but he didn't. Backo, drive faster next time.   Hit with a wet fish

This track is very hard for lapping, for both parties.  Sad  Majority of the drivers were great, letting me through so quickly I was sometimes embarased, I felt like a predator comming on a school of prey, scattering them.  Cheesy  No need to that, guys, just be sensible, hold the line, ease off and we won the day.  Smiley
In one particular case I had a feeling there was some old account being settled as the blocking was going on for some time, certainly more than any (even strached) sensible time necessary to let the lapping car by even on a twisty track as this. Will watch the replay and act accordingly.  Sad

Was great to see MJ brake his oath to Porsche...  Tongue

Gotta say sorry to Prof as made contact with you on at least two occasions - one of them causing you to spin - sorry again  Undecided

Not a good race for me, as was having some framerate issues again, so braking points etc were all out of sync.
Later found out that all my graphics card settings had been reset, should be ok for the next round.
Congrats to all who ran here tonight - not a great fan of this track myself though.

Another intense and hard fought race. Backo was always going to be out of reach with -20kg of ballast, so it was nice to get 2nd on the GTC grid. Initially I had an easy time of it as Simon slowly edged away and I got a little gap those behind. Then TT closed in and we had yet another good scrap, with my RS always better on the power and TT with the edge on the brakes. During our battle we were unfortunately held up for over a lap by a backmarker in the same class  nono, and the time lost came back to haunt me later on. TT was a real gent though for not taking advantage of the situation  thumbup1 In the end he took advantage of my good nature  Tongue with a slightly ambitious move into T1 before he pitted the next lap. After that I had Zacari on fresh tyres putting the pressure on, and I was looking for a way to let him by when I made a mistake and ran wide in the last corner. He was alongside on the outside into T1 and I didn't contest the pass.  I pitted just for new tyres and came out as a big gaggle of cars approached, so I had to slowly ease out onto the track. As I got up to speed Ruskus came flying past, and I knew from experience I was going to struggle to get the place back on such a twisty track. I caught him up after a few laps and then spent the rest of the race up his gearbox. I've said before that there is nowhere to pass with an equal car and so it was to prove - plenty of close moments but Jeff could always take a defensive line and leave me nowhere to go. I had a last big effort on the final lap and was very close after the middle hairpin, but a Viper had a spin in the middle of the right kink ahead, and seeing the danger I nudged Jeff across the grass through the gap (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!  Tongue) Wink). 3rd in class isn't too bad, but I made very few driving mistakes, had good pace all race and think with a bit more luck I would have had 2nd.

Congrats to Simon, Backo and SBG for the class wins & thx to those who helped me past.

No problem Will16v, I was never going to be competitive here. Relieved just to finish.
