Looks like use of RaceMore will be essential to bypass the lobby when it is too busy, to avoid getting stuck in the backup lobby and being unable to find the server you want. How many people are having trouble getting it to work?

RaceMore doesn't help in that respect.
When the main server went down last night, it went down both in the game and in RaceMore.

I tell you what's bloody annoying with RaceMore...

When you try to log into a server that's *nearly* full, you have to wait for RaceMore to launch GTR, wait for the server to connect and... "Sorry, the game is full".

AAARGH! At least using the GTR lobby you found out a race was full almost immediately and if you just constantly clicked 'join' to get back in you would be lucky fairly quickly, now that's not an option 'cos it takes SO LONG Angry

getting stuck in the backup lobby and being unable to find the server you want is something what happens also on MORE, so like Smooty sad, no real help from MORE

Yes, but with RaceMore you can just keep hammering the refresh button until it gives you the full list of servers. This has worked for me so far anyway.
