I wanted to watch the replay before commenting.
Very tense race, exciting. The car choice turned out great, it was so tight racing, despite the differences in the cars.
...had a couple of scary moments when Mike's car warped everywhere, and nearly got thrown off track when he warped directly in front of me, a terrific scrap with him and Jeff for all the race though.
Very sorry to hear I was lagging, it sucks when good racing is disturbed by such technical problems. Maybe that was why I got nudged several times during the laps I was ahead of you
. Fortunately the E-Type is a sturdy and stable car, so no spins resulted from it. No worries. I see from the replay I got you back good on the straight with a lag bomb though.
I also feel Bara passed me by giving a nudge just prior to braking zone in 2nd to last corner on the last lap, I would probably not have went wide and given room otherwise. But I sinned far worse trying to squeeze through where there simply wasn't quite enough room on the last turn. Very sorry. With less throttle I might have been able to both avoid Prib and leave Bara enough room,
Before the chequered flag I wasn't waiting for Pribeiro, I was waiting for Baracus, but when Pribeiro also slowed down and flashed his lights I went ahead anyway. Lots of confusion there the last lap. But I thought that to be the common practice, you bump someone off, you wait for them. Right?
All in all a very enjoyable race, despite the few troubles there. It's so tough to avoid contact while in a tight group of dissimilar cars, all trying to overtake one another. Thanks once more for a good race.
I'm going to start looking for another ISP, this lagging just won't do.
