I was airborn into T1 and that was it for me.
the car wasn't to responsive afterwards. I caught up to 22nd place around lap 9, but the tyres quickly degraded and by lap 12 I literally was sliding off of every turn. Decided to retire before I slid into the front runners.
Probably a bad choice to pick the TVR overall, as I didn't get a stable setup untill this morning - but it's to much fun!

Did a PB in qually and just got into the 47's. Had a pretty good start, but I was lucky to have a clear track infront. From the start I could win around 0.7s a lap on Keith, so it was a matter of keeping it on the black stuff (eventhough we Dutch love the green stuff ). I saw you were struggling Adam, you had some funny looking fishtail moments . By the sounds of it PR, it's lag. Of someone can hit you that hard it's often because the don't see you. Dan: WE ARE USING THE 1.1 PATCH!!!!

Thanks for the drifting class. Quite fun to see you get sideways when you overtook me... and disappeared in the distance...

Thanks for the drifting class. Quite fun to see you get sideways when you overtook me... and disappeared in the distance... Yeah I was having some fun the last few laps . Better to force the oversteer yourself than let the car decide and get taken by surprise

That was good fun. Don't know why but I really like the Cobra despite my loathing of most of the American cars. For some reason I just get on with the Cobra, it seems to have a lot of feel for a big old brute and that's what makes it fun to drive.
Qualified well ahead of my expectations in 5th and off the line I took two Elans to end up in 3rd after Lap 1.
Spent half the race sat behind the Poodle with no way by and Baracus breathing down my neck, was hard to watch front and rear so closely for so long. Eventually I got along side Poodle down the start finish straight and I tried to go around the outside of T1 thinking we had enough room, but surprise surprise I came off the worse as the cars seemed to lock their door handles together. After that I was pushing too hard to catch back up and that was in turn slowing me down. Eventually I got some rythum back and stopped trying so hard and was catching slowly Poodle and Baracus. I wasn't going to catch them, but kindly Baracus wanted to mow the lawn with 2 laps to go and I nipped through to take 3rd.
Great result for me. Loved the track it's got such a nice flow to it I think and lots of different corner types.

That was majorly hard work but great fun! Got a crud start becuse I couldnt hear my own engine with all the Cobra's around me, so I changed up to 2nd too early and got a bit of a wobble on.... 2nd to 4th. I doubt it would have made any difference anyway as the Cobras would have passed me before T1 anyway ! Then a very close race with Simon and Keith for the whole duration. Every time I was tucked up behind in the apex and ready to accelerate, I couldn't do it so I was stuck! I was trying to find creative lines so that I could actually get a run out of the bend and maybe get enough alongside to get into the next turn first but there was no way! Those Cobras so wide Penultimate lap somehow the car span out in T3 (tight left) still don't know why as I wasn't sliding and tyres were not RED, so gave my previously handed P3 right back :0 Great battle really enjoyed it!

Disappointing race for me First time in ages I lost places off the line, from 4th, forgot what a high 1st gear the Cobra had and simply bogged down. Idiot! Then in the melee that was T2 I was harpooned out of, about 7th, right into gravel, rejoined in 17th. I was slightly annoyed, but since it sounds like a connection issue, such is life. Managed to drive through to 7th, although the tyres took more of a beating than I wanted. On the way I got by Adam and then 2 corners later gave a good demonstration of a lead right foot and powered off entering the s/f straight Tootling round in 7th with no acceleration at all, 30% diff and worn tyres was sliding all over the place, and as I seem to do with the tricky V8s I totally tightened up thinking 'ooh, last lap' and instead of powering through T3/4, I got tentative on the power and understeered serenely wide so Mark nipped through. I think he may have deserved 7th anyway, as when I got by he had run wide after flashing thanks to a lappee and I guess lost concentration. Still, pretty disappointing considering what I'd expected. Must try to remember not to drive V8s........ Congratulations to the podium guys, nice driving.

I am relieved that nobody, based on gossip so far, got tangled up in my gymnastics off the line. Thats the first time I've made a great start and typically someone was dozing in front of me Gutted not to take part really as the TVR was a complete blast and I really wanted to take a few of those nasty Cobras. A TVR vs Cobra battle should be part of every GTL season . Gotta say that was a really good track choice Simon, ta.

Had a great start and was making up loads of places until A stationary car appeared right in front of me! Orange TVR!? Second race on the trot that someone elses lag has caused me issues!? Luckily no damage this time but was last to leave the first straight! May have given someone a minor bump from behind in turn 1, sorry but I don't think that caused any issues! Really can't seem to get a set up that I am happy with but did make up some places and keep it together to get back to 15th having started 18th. Can't complain! but was way off the pace! M.

I had a very good quality session and a great race too Had a fairly poor start off the line – I managed to bog the Cobra down slightly > still by T1 I was in 2nd so the progress was made. I kept with Jeff for the opening laps…but Jeff was edging out a larger & larger gap from lap 4'ish onwards. It was either try to close the gap by taking risks and probably totally destroy my tyres in the process or just drive with a P2, P3, P4 finish mind. I selected the later option. Still by lap 10’sih the tyres didn’t seem too clever…I had both Baracus & Simon hunting me down and the pressure was on. Holding off Baracus was my greatest challenge of the race…as we all know he’s a fast driver, my tyres where rather worn…even keeping in front on the straights was becoming hard work > still lucky for me the times Baracus did pass me..directly after there would be a nice piece of straight – so I was just able to gas the 427 up and blast past back into p2 Both Simon and Baracus made mistake toward the end…and the last few laps I had a nice juicy gap, phew. 21 laps in a Corba and p2 finish, I’m so HAPPY Grats to Jeff – another fantastic drive. Baracus – whatta great quail session getting p2!! (actually at the end of the quail session my money would have been on Baracus to win the race). Great performance from Simon, who had me checking my mirrors enough times! The dudes I lapped where gents – thanks to them for checking their mirrors & moving off-line, etc. Cheers all, Keith
