Thanks, just got the impression that people used a common one. Guess not then.

As simon said earlier,i lost a lot of time in the pits,i just cant work out why.
I started with 44 mins of fuel, pressed the pit request as i crossed the s/f line with one lap of fuel left.
Flew into the pits, made my stop and added 32 mins of fuel.
I dropped 2 places and came out 15 seconds behind simon.
I was also probably the last one to pit in the top 8.
I wasnt that far behind Kerr when he pitted. But when i pitted and rejoined he was miles away.
What am i doing wrong,i always seem to drop right down the field when i pit.
Any advice would be great.

I think everyone is running 100l at start of race John. Last night I only added 10l at pit stop as it was too close to call. Some races it's tyres only. Fuel is about 3l a second I think at pit stop. It means running heavier slower car for first half of the race though.

Do you use pit in request...cant remember exactly..but i think if you dont..there`s a bit of messing about and stuff etc from mechanics or summat that wastes time

I started with 55L, added 45 in pits. Pressed pit req. just as I was entering pit, and saw the pit crew got ready as I got closer to my pit stall.

Any practice after I moved back from UK to Slovakia(forever), but race weekend I really enjoyed it!!! Grin I couldn't find right  setting for Morgan so 2 behind Paul968 I was happy.Good start and nice close fighting about positions, then nice close racing with Paul968,after my pit stop I came back but with wrong type of tyres (allways cold and bloody slippery) and also my engine life was about 84% so I decide save my engine.I was very happy to finished race !!!!! Grin, because my health of engine in last lap was 54%!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked .Very good race weekend and congratulation to top 3 each class!!!!Now I'm looking for next race!!!!

Got disco'd with about 14 mins to go there

I saw you warp for a couple of seconds before you went so things were already going wrong. You're also one of the people who is still overdriving a fair bit, I reckon if you slow down a fraction and smooth things out you'll soon start going faster...

That'll be why you spent longer in the pits then John. I always take the hit of slower lap times in stint one by taking a full tank of fuel so I have less to put in at the break. Depends on the strategy, but in GT2 it gives me the option to run very long and even switch to soft softs for the final stint depending on how it's going. You have to work out whether you make more time in lap times by being lighter or more time in the pits from taking on less fuel.
