The stop timer read about 59 seconds - what did yours say? 67 mine if I remember correctly. My in lap wasn't great...got caught by a couple of lapping cars in the arena that perhaps cost a couple of seconds. I did request the stop too...shorly after the hairpin. spent a couple of seconds checking the pit board and altered the fuel from 70 lt to 75 lt then hit enter pretty quickly. I suppose the accumulation of an extra second here and there during all aspects of the stop must be it really...just pretty shocking at the time when you think you have had a decent stop to end up being 18+ seconds adrift.

In defence of myself last round, I did nothing wrong. Why the team took so long is beyond me. Just very strange.
No complaints about pit last night. I was running with Roadrunner in his BMW who I jumped at pit stop but expected to anyway with his increased fuel load and came out with a very similar gap to Robert.
I did the same as always, request pit in and no problem coming in, I did however overshoot my bay slightly and lost a few seconds. other than that it was fine.
As for the temperatures I ran with soft front tyres. My right one never got into the correct band concerning tyre temperature for the entire race. It does also affect the lap times. I think I was about the same as Tuesday night but my car was actually a good bit quicker.

LOL. I had to run mediums all round the M3. I was lucky to push 60 degrees on the right front, but the wear was still pretty horrendous considering it was a GT2 with mediums on it!!

Got disco'd with about 14 mins to go there, on what was a bad race for me - 2 stop and go's, misjudged fuel amount at stop and put too much in.
Ah well - grats to all who finished and to the winners of each class.
You would not have lasted too much longer if you did not get disco. Your engine was smoking heavily and myself and I guess Robert would have been struggling to see as well

A race of 2 halves for me. Although Backo slowly worked his way up the timesheet in qual, my low 41 was good enough for pole. We had a bit of messing about on the pace lap as TT sorted his wheel out, but everyone sensibly allowed the right order to reform. Then on lap 1 Roadrunner went wide at T2, making life harder for me as he rejoined the racing line at the apex curb on the exit, and Backo got a run down the outside. RR then used his power to get between us, making it 3 abreast into the hairpin I went a bit wide but not as much as Backo, who went off the track on the exit, tried to rejoin across the curbs but bounced off my 911 instead - I don't think either of us knew the other one was there to be honest. RR got past on the exit, and it was then solid lapping until I caught Morten going slowly right on the apex of the flat out right kink. This gave Backo the chance to close right up, and we then had a number of very close laps with me desperately defending against his slightly faster Morgan - great stuff In the end he had a spin at T2, which gave me some breathing space until the pitstop. Having started with full fuel I needed a splash to top up (this is partly why my stop was longer Pete + damage repair) and new medium tyres, which were not the best in the cold but were a safe choice in case it warmed up. I came out ahead of Pete in 1st (in class), who was clearly having a storming drive. The rest was fairly easy going as I edged out more of a lead and nursed the car to the end. I'm not sure why Backo was so much slower in the 2nd half - he was all over me before the pitstop but late in the race it was a different story. It's nice to get the win and make up ground in JR's absence - I think it would have been harder work had he been around, despite the ballast. Congrats to Freq on a dominant drive in GT2, to Pete for a very strong 2nd in GTC (you seem to have got a lot faster recently) and especially to SBG for a great victory over the Viper menace

I was only about the same temperature, for softs, but I would think the front engined cars would develop more heat. Wear was bad for me too. The front left was heavily worn, thing it was about 28,

I don't quite understand how I got 60kg ballast as I was third at Spa, but I guess the maths of the ballast system is just too clever for my own good You were on max ballast before Spa and still finished 3rd, which means an increase of +5, so yes, 60 is right. Freq starting with 0 as a newcomer is another 'issue' with the current system though.

I don't quite understand how I got 60kg ballast as I was third at Spa, but I guess the maths of the ballast system is just too clever for my own good. Anyway, it meant I had no chance to compete with the front runners and made the car feel like a lump of lead. I think the ballast is too much as it's supposed to make me compete not lose any chance at all. I would think you need to take 20kg off the top weight to make it have a more desirable effect. You had 60kg at Spa and you came third which means you didn't lose any. It's not really rocket science! Can I ask how many rounds are there left? The table is confusing as Silverstone seems to be at the start and only 2 races after this one, so is it 2 or 3 rounds left?
2 rounds left - Silverstone will be moved into Season 7 but I haven't set any of the series up yet to move them into.

Unfortunately for TT, in his enthusiasm to get out of the pits he somehow clipped the tyre wall on the right of the pit exit and that was race over. I was laughing at the time (sorry!!!) but straight afterwards frustrated at what looked like losing my last chance for any racing in the second half.
I was laughing, too, but it was kind of bitter. The mistake like that deserves to be laughed at. I don't think I made this kind of rookie move even in S1. TT

TT I did the same thing in practice, which was a bit of a wake-up call. I was more careful last night as a result. Sorry toi hear it caught you out

I couldn't get medium fronts to work at all (just understeered straight off...turning at the hairpin was a mission) so decided to run soft fronts for both stints. They went off spectacularly after about 30 minutes, but they were so much faster for those 30 mins that they were easily the right choice for me. Even so, the front right didn't get out of the 60's

My soft slicks on the rear went fine, but my mediums at the front took a bit of wear. At least the left front. Struggled in right hand turns on old tires. Neither the front or rear tires got any heat in them, except the front left which was green.
By the way, do you guys use any kind of common audio chat?
