It's a bit heavier than GTR2, so if you have to play that on low, than Race 07 might be a problem as it's only Direct X9. Download the demo and see how it goes.

I have to run GTR2 on lowest on everything, the Race '07 demo works when set to lowest on everything but quite slowly. 800x600 screen settings are compulsory.

I find Race 07 runs ok, but the textures need to need to be set to low or medium, but trying various settings to see what i get do to get the best out of my system:

P4 3.0HT (overclocked it to 3.6Ghz)
2GB DDR 400 ram
GeCube X1950XT 256 mb

Running @ 1440 x 900

May have to lower the resolution from the native shown above...

Anyone know how to adjust the plr. file?

Its encrypted this time round - really want to adjust the graphical settings as per the guides provided by Simon for GTL/GTR2 (very useful if you haven't seen this).

You can pick up the PLR decryption programme from the No Grip forum. There are also good instructions on how to use it.
