I'm going to reformat the pc once the norton subscription has run out. Thinking of swapping to McAfee if it uses less CPU.

We use Mökkafee (translates to Crapafee) at work. The comp went suddenly 5-10 years back in time, probably because of true-time check being enabled though. I use Avast Home which is free, and it has done it's job here.
